against anyone who's opening any kind of widish range im shoving pretty quickly in this spot esp on this stack size but this guy made me have some doubts about my play as i was looking back at it on icmizer

first off i gave him a 25% rfi range from the hj.
    22+,A2s+,A7o+,A5o,K9s+,KTo+,Q9s+,QTo+,J9s+,T9s

if hes calling A4hh leads me to believe he will call off any pair or A he raises
gave him a raise/call range of 17% which consists of: 22+,A4s+,A7o+,KQ

does this look right to u guys?

As a default id shoving A10,A8s,22,KQ,KJs. Then open it up vs people more aggro

what kind of tournament is this?

If this is pure chip ev, KJo is not a good shove here. I also think oldschool range is kinda loose. Id shove: 66,AJo+,A9s+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs+, (44/55, A5s-A8s being borderline)

If villain calls with A4s (which not many villain will do imo) thats a very very bad call also. My 3bet call range against
an aggro reg would be something like: 77+,AJ,ATs,KQs. But then the reg must have a 3bet of 10% in this case. Which many
wont have (B vs MP). So being tighter then this is prolly better. 88,AQ,AJs or something close to it.

those are my 180 chip ev ranges anyway.

no offense, but i would suggest checking hrc/icmizer and realising how wide can you shove here in reality. Your ranges are waaaaaay to tight.

OP; your shove is correct if a/he opens a bit more then you stated b/hes a reg c/he doesnt call 22+ A2s+ A7+ KJs+ in this spot (which i think not many players do). If he calls correctly, KJo is a fold.

my shoving range here vs aggro reg would be preety wide, as they open wide and call off tight. (fold to 3bet after raising stat in pt4 helps a lot). I would go with 22+ A2s+ A9o+ all suited broadways and sometimes 89s T9s TBH

    If he calls correctly 17.3%, 44+ A3s+ A8o+ KTs+ KJo+ QTs+ JTs

    If he calls tighter 12.1%, 33+ A9s+ ATo+ KJs+ KQo

i guess it answers your question

    @wanderer

i dont think a 30% open is realistic for a MP opener. My ranges were based on a 20% open (and correct calls, which might not be the case). which i think is waaaay more realistic, no offense

    just plugged it in HRC.

vs 20% open. and 12% (optimal) call range of MP. We shove: 55,AT,KTs+,QTs+JTs,KQo.

The range i gave was only slightly tighter.

This one's extremely villain-dependent. Stats/reads would really help as a lot of players are very different in their opening ranges and their r/c ranges also.
