tbh, i don't know why i called.
Now when i analyse the hand, i would incline to fold, thinking he might have hit 2 pair or the Jack.

Thank you.

As played river is kinda close, I'm sure he showed up with some Jx or T8. Comes down to your overall thoughts on villain, is he even capable of double barrel bluffing in this spot etc. Can't really say what I'd do unless I know villain a bit better, maybe fold pretty valuely sizing.

I'm gonna suggest another line here, maybe this is just trash and you're gonna gun me down for it but here we go.

SB being a 51-17 means he's likely calling a lot of our raises anyway. Now whilst we can just raise for value and get most/if not all of his range to call part of me doesn't hate just checking the BB.

Firstly just to go for an under repped line, potential value in doing sure for reasons i'm sure you understand (if not I can explain).

Secondly, you and sb are relatively deep (wouldn't be surprised if you're first and second in the whole 180). Yes it's a super top heavy structure but I think it's kind of cool to just ramp down the variance a bit and make SPR's (stack to pot ratio's) a bit better on flop/turn/river.

Post flop we are at the top of our range. I think this has to be a call.

Definitely bet the flop; it's a super dry board and it makes the hand easier to play. Against an opponent this passive, you might just want to shove against his limp. It's a profitable shove regardless, and he might even call with hands like KTs or Ax.

plus cEV but surely not plus ev shove in the absence of sb reads and our high bf.

if we think he may call with those weak hands we dominate his large range will include many hands we are 60:40 favourite. These payout very top heavy our bf is surprisingly high for stack depths

I would 100% cbet the flop. Also this is a snap call for me on the river especially after we check back the flop. We've taken a passive line and hit 2nd pair heads up can't be folding.

I also agree with everyone above... We would think in that kind of board is impossible for villian to have a better hand than ours... But checkin villian stats he could be callin atc so meh! And no, no need to shove here 22bb vs the biggest of the table!
