Hi players,

I sat at the FT and a player who i believe opens tight makes a 3x raise.
His stats: vpip/ pfr/ 3bet 21/5/ 4 over 57 hands.
Seeing him play at FT believes me he opens tight here and has a real hand.

What is the best line for me to take here?
I hated to fold here, but would doubt if i would be ahead on his 3x open.
Due to stacksize i believe i just had to jamm here and made a error.

Feedback please

I think flatting from the BB with AQo is really marginal because we play it oop post-flop. Here is my take on the hand: shove pre and if he has you beat, gg. We still have FE and a great hand with some blockers to whatever it is he is raising with.

i would jam or fold pre, leaning towards jam for above reasons, you have some fe and your hand does pretty decently vs. his range
as played c/f flop is fine

ship it in pre

fold pre, he is tight and has the nuts way too often to get it in with AQ on a FT.
ICM blabla. shortstacks blabla.

No shame in folding pre i think. Tight players make 3x raises in spots like these to commit themselves. He cannot fold to our shove for 10.000 more.

He rarely has worse Ax imo.
