So, first time poster. I am trying to learn where I stand in spots in a tournament and so here's the first time I felt completely stumped as to where I was:

Let me know what you think to this. If you think it was far too tight to fold, I'm happy to hear it. At the time, I didn't want to spew chips with a flip while being in such a comfortable spot.

Was my fold too tight? All responses welcome even if they are an overwhelming "YES!"

I'd shove, although I don't have that much of an explanation as to why. Perhaps it's because I can't bring myself away from such a pretty hand.

If you feel like you don't want to flip (which is most probably what you're doing here) then folding is probably good. Any more insight anyone?

    Haha - thought so

I know I played the rest rather well, if I do say so... just had a moment of NIT-iness

AKo I might fold if villain is nitty and its bubble or near bubble time. I'd say AKs is almost always a shove here. What stage is the tournament at? If near bubble then I might wait for a shortie to bust but I usually just go with it. If you don't want to open and then fold or open and then call off, than I advise just open shoving instead.

    Hope this is sound advice.
