[converted_hand][hand_history]Poker Stars, $2.28 Buy-in (2,000/4,000 blinds, 400 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #13172241

BB: 95,270 (23.8 bb)
CO: 65,426 (16.4 bb)
Hero (BTN): 51,261 (12.8 bb)
SB: 58,043 (14.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A A
CO folds, Hero raises to 8,000, SB folds, BB calls 4,000

Flop: (19,600) 9 Q Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: (19,600) 6 (2 players)
BB bets 12,000, Hero folds

I check the flop to induce a bluff on the turn.

However I fold due to his big bet and me not wanting to get my stack in on this board as he will likely barrel the river. I kinda find my line horrible now that I look back at it...

Is calling down to the river the most valuable line to take?

Thanks.

Wow. Call turn/ call river. You're the short stack, anyway!

If you're not betting the flop, call the turn at least.

jesus man just get your last 10bb in on a paired board with the nut overpair against a maniac

call turn and call or even shove river IMO

if you decide to check AA on a nut flop, you do it to always call the turn from a laggy Villain, turn call is a must. River really plays itself, he checks, you bet/shove, he prolly folds

lol call turn and river. 12k aint that big -.-.
You fold where only really 99 66 and a queen beats you with 10BB left...

Not sure if this is a level. 12bb I am not folding AA on any board. I am cbetting flop about 12k, which leaves you with 32k, pot is 44k if called and easy turn shove.

If you are raised all in after the 12k cbet, you have to call 30k to win over 100k pot. Never folding this, villain has so many worse hand....

I like this fold.

Doesn't matter how the money gets in, but this is never a fold with a 12 bb stack.

LOL!!!

For all we know, this could be a complete genius fold. It's very unlikely, yes, but statistically you were a 79.255% favourite to win the hand on the turn.

Flop: I like betting ~8000-9000 here, especially after he checks.

Turn: As played, just call and be prepared to call down a river bet or bet against a check.

Bet flop and hope he spazzes on paired boards like the kids love to do these days.

+1 to all the head asplode comments about folding turn OR river as played. Don't see the monsters in the closet!
