FT
Villain is random.
What are our calling ranges in this spot vs random?
What are our calling ranges in this spot vs regular?
Should we focus on ICM since BB only has 1 blind left?
Still makes this a call?

i think its a fold w/o running numbers. just by feel.
if we are BB we obv call. if BB is a bigger stack we obv call
with ATs/AJo i'd call as well mostly.

Hmm. I dunno. We're in the danger zone and the pay jump will be tiny. This is about as good a spot as we can hope for to get the money in. If we were 3/4 handed in a similar spot I like a fold more but I think I call here and try to build a stack. Thin though, definitely the bottom of my range.

Assuming BB always calls off and 0 edge villain needs to shove >35% for a call to be correct. With a BB that is clearly committed and a bigstack in SB I'm not so sure if to many players will be shoving that much, deff not randoms.

So your folding 3bbs here for a payjump from $21 to $27 when's it's $123 ftw? QQ+ seems ridiculous to me. I'm not saying A9o isn't a fold - though I'd call - but surely QQ+ is SUPER nitty. Or I'm an ICM fish.

Think somewere like 77+/AJ+ will just about hit the spot

A9o seems a bit thin here, esp vs a random

Can someone explain the details, why exactly we want to fold A9o here?

This seems more like it to me. Folding JJ or AKs (especially given the payout structure is so top-heavy) is just lol.

Because the BB is going to call for sure and if he busts (65% chance I'd say with CO's range), we get a pay bump. Besides that I'm not sure how well we'd do against villains range. We still get 3 chances to shove.

But then again I just started playing these 180's so take all of this with a grain of salt.

I'd probably call here with AT+ 77+, but it is close.

I ship....I would of shoved it anyway.

but yeah it's close.

Folding A9o here, even ATo. AJo pretty close, but probably calling.

I would call a reg here

When do we start talking about taking this spot because it will be the least bad spot we are likely to get in the next few hands i.e 3 BB has very limited FE and we have about 4 hands to get something good

I call with 3bb......would have defo folded if my stacks are bit bigger.
