Imo this is a push/fold spot for us, especially with this holding. Against unknown I would probably 3betshove, just because CO should be opening there a lot 40-60%.

Against donks I tend to read a 4x open inappropriate for the stacks as strong - at least in his mind. He's never folding. I would just fold myself and move on the next hand.

You are in a sweet spot as the effective table boss every time the player on your right folds - no need to flip and especially not against him - even with some best case scenario hand like he has KJo.

+1 and if the stack sizes are similar on other table our BF vs him is very large. I think this is a fold after his 4x 1000% of the time

The 4x raise doesnt make sense at all. But most likely, you will lose the pot if you flat call the raise there because he will 95% bet the flop and you have 75% chances missing the flop with no ace or 8. For many reasons, A8, I won't get involve in any action especially because I have more to lose than to win into this specific spot.

Is this a PKO?

Without any sorts of reads/info this is probably a fold and find a better spot (especially if it's a PKO and we cover everyone else on the table).

vs min raise its a obv shove spot (especially in psko, where villain will be r/c the blinds very wide for a bounty). vs 4x or 3x I always fold. His a rec and you don't have fEQ imo.

I overlooked that he opened to 4x, my bad. That makes it an easy fold, unless its his standard or...
