I mean, the spot is decent to show up with a wide shovingrange. However, 7-5 off is so insanely bad that i advocate to just dump it.
What we want to do is to combine our reads and dynamics at the table with a reasonable range to accomplish a winning mixture of fold equity+ hand equity. If we lower our pure hand equity threshold too much the total equity of the shove is going from +EV to becoming -EV pretty fast.
If your tight image is going to make them fold a lot then that's good, but don't waste it on this hand. Let them play suboptimally for longer against a normal range, a lot of which also needs fold equity.
Since gappers lack overcard value, the few points of suitedness, which is a noticeable gap between AKs/AKo, really matter in terms of ratio for 98s-...
One of the contributions of decent equity is the fact that if you race, you practically never share cards/have them counted out in races. The caveat is you're dead to pairs just about a lot of the time unless you flush out.
