$7, 18 man - AJo with a 5.5 BB stack to a raiser

Looking at this, I'm pretty sure I made the right play pushing, because of my low stack and the hand value. Villain also has a 50% VPIP and 38% PFR on only 8 hands though.

The things working against me are that villain's raise size is large enough that I have no fold equity. I'll just post it anyway for any input.

PokerStars - 400/800 Ante 50 NL - Holdem - 7 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 15.62 BB (VPIP: 12.50, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 8)
UTG: 5.03 BB (VPIP: 20.29, PFR: 13.11, 3Bet Preflop: 5.56, Hands: 70)
UTG+1: 10.16 BB (VPIP: 5.56, PFR: 6.25, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 18)
MP: 12.89 BB (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 37.50, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 8)
CO: 25.75 BB (VPIP: 16.48, PFR: 12.40, 3Bet Preflop: 6.59, Hands: 262)
BTN: 9.49 BB (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 7)
Hero (SB): 5.45 BB

7 players post ante of 0.06 BB, Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.94 BB) Hero has J A

fold, fold, MP raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 5.38 BB and is all-in, fold, MP calls 2.38 BB

Flop: (12.2 BB, 2 players) 6 Q 3

Turn: (12.2 BB, 2 players) 7

River: (12.2 BB, 2 players) Q

Hero shows J A (One Pair, Queens)
(Pre 26%, Flop 2%, Turn 0%)
MP shows Q A (Three of a Kind, Queens)
(Pre 74%, Flop 98%, Turn 100%)
MP wins 12.2 BB

Absolutly, you did the right thing sir. You can't wait more as you expect AJ to probably be your best hand for a double up. No shame there, just poker.

You don't necessarily want fold equity against hands you dominate so I wouldn't worry about that. The fact he can have opened some kind of JTs type hand looking at the other stacks which he's now forced to call off against you is a bonus.

Ok good point man. His VPIP and PFR suggest I'm likely well ahead of that range with AJo.

i wouldnt judge anything based on 8hands. he might be a maniac or maybe he was dealt premiums. folding ajo is too nitty, but he 3x of 13bb stack. it doesnt look he's folding very often. he's probably a rec, so hard to say wtf he's thinking. im still shoving this hand
