also if it may help CO likes to make committing raise or calls that are not necessarily premium hands... For instance he raised 4x with a stack of 5bb UTG 6handed... He won with AJs

All for going for the win etc but the jumps are big enough at this stage to make ICM a factor.

We're obv getting it in versus the OR but when he gets called we need to be pretty tight. Folding here makes more $ than calling for the simple reason that either the first guy busts or the second guy gets relatively crippled. "When two players collide, every other player makes money"

I'd prob be as tight as TT+ AK due to ICM.

    It's real close.

If you consider roughly -2.6% real close then it's real close.

If you say its negative chip ev, I assume you give CO a very tight calling range which I think from very short experience playing with him is not that tight.. What range did you assigned him top 5%? ( way to tight imo)... And I agree with the fact that its not a bad idea to let go based on the premise that they collide and one will eventually bust... Therefore, generating money for the rest of us... How much money tho? ( a small increased bonus compared to the chiplead that I will get if I take the risk).. I d rather take more risk now then later to get further... There are no good players at the final table and if I win this pot... Its very likely that I win the whole thing

Yeh i like this range, AQo seems real real close although it's difficult to say when you're unaware of the dynamics and HUD stats.

Thing is OP it's not a cEV spot. I agree that it's pretty close but still think icm tax plays a big part.

The CO's range is not really that important, ie I gave him a generous 26% (Ax, 22+, K9s+, KJo+, Q9s+, QJ, J9s+, T9s) versus the OR's range of another slightly generous 15%.

    It's a $5~ mistake to overcall.

Even giving the CO an insane 50% it's a $3.50 mistake to call.

Actually those dollar amounts are off as I inputted an incorrect prize pool. The point remains the same

You say taggish let's give MP a proper reg range like 22+, Ax, KTo, J8s+, JTo, T8s, 98s, 87s (it's probably tighter) and let's say CO calls with app 10% (if he is also TAGish) then it's a clear fold imo. Like Dublinmeup says you move up most of the time due to this AI!
