45MAN - QQ line. Doubt ? 45MAN - QQ line. Doubt ?

I am in doubt about this hand. When I bet on turn maybe I turn my QQ into a bluff or not because maybe some pocket pairs would call me twice thinking that I would bluff this turn always even when I didn't have A. But if I check on turn he would know that I didn't have a strong Ax and could bluff me betting on turn or bet bigger than I bet on turn for value, And if I had checked on turn I would have called on turn always, I think. So I didn't know about this bet on turn if was good or not, and If Did I have some weak Ax it is better to check ?

there were 5 players on the table. It wasn't the final table. I was in CO and the villan in button. Blinds were 100/200

I would think you are still betting the turn for value with QQ as you're going to be getting called by worse (and not bluffing as we're not folding out better).

As played, probably check/calling this turn depending on villain.

It would be nice to know the stack depths here.

You're not really "turning your hand into a bluff" on the turn here because you never fold out KK+ and you can still get value from anything between 9 and JJ.

You fold out random stuff that floated this low flop. You obviously also get called or raised by an A and monsters.

It's true that if you check he can try to bluff you off QQ but you're going to call anyway and probably also call again on a non-spade non K river?

If he calls turn and then bets river when we check to him, can we call? I'm thinking probably not.

Putting that all together:
Against a 9 - we can get one more street of value by betting now or by betting river after it goes check-check. A T or J might kill our action on the river but mostly it's the same whatever.

Against air - if we bet we end the hand now but we can get one or two streets of value if we turn our hand into a bluff catcher. So better if we check-call.

Against an A/monster - we lose one or two streets here whether we bluff-catch or bet so probably same.

So my vote is to check-call.

I think was something like 20 BB deep both of us.

If I had checked on turn It would be difficult to call a bet on turn and river even if river wouldn't be a K of spades.

Why Do T or J slowdown our action on river ?

Well if we're confident we can fold river to a second bet then it means he's not bluffing two streets in that spot - so we shouldn't worry too much about getting bluffed out when deciding what to do on the turn.

T or J would make it hard to get value from 9 as its now 3rd pair (also something like 66, 77).
