45man (0.25cent) AK hand hero? 45man (0.25cent) AK hand hero?

Hey guys it's my first post so go easy on me . I'm wondering if that was a hero call or standard. My reasoning was that there wasn't much 9 or 4 hands he would raise into 2 limpers and also there shouldn't be much hands that UTG would limp with that contained 9 or 4, mby 99 or 44 but not likely. Set was not very likely also and didn't think he would bet any lower pair into 2 ppl who check called the turn. And finally there were a lot of overcards in his range that I think he would bet from button with like that. Please give me your feedback and correct my thought process.

His line doesn't make sense but it's not a standard call, particularly the overcall on the turn. People play hands all kinds of ways in 25c games so he can be bluffing with the best hand here or betting showdown value because he doesn't properly understand how to polarise his river bets.

If you are playing fewer tables, timing tells can clue you in to a sick call like this sometimes though. Nh wp.

Also welcome to mttsng - people are generally nice and go easy on each other in this subforum.

And good choice of 25c reg speed 45s. They are a great training ground.

So should I just fold to a turn bet here?

I think that folding would definitely be standard after the other guy has called turn (I suspect he folded the best hand on the river actually). You basically never have the best hand and your outs may be dead too. Even if you hit an A on the river you are probably behind if another bet comes.

Your hand reading stuff in the OP is basically along the right lines but you need to remember that in micro games it's only a reweighting of probabilities rather than definitively excluding particular hands from the range. Just so many of the hands they shouldn't have from the preflop action but could have are straights, sets, two pair or even one pair (you're drawing to about 12 percent against a one pair hand and it's worse if the one pair has an Ace kicker you don't know about) and the later action reweights towards those hands again and away from what they might have had on the flop. If it was two-way I would probably like the call though.

BTW I saw your location. Despite my Polish taste in avatars I'm English but I used to live in Krakow on the Vistula.

Don't wanna overextend your courtesy since I'm new here but would you mind looking at my deep run 45 man history to pinpoint crucial mistakes I make in my runs if you have some time to spare ofc If not it's fine. I'm not getting to FT often enough. I'm still a loosing player and have a lot to learn and a lot of strategic leaks to fix but can't find precise informations on this.

Just post hands and get advice. Don't play too many tables when you are learning. Look out for opportunities to steal and work out reshove ranges vs different positions.

I went along the same route as you about a year ago. If you click my username and find threads I started you can find some good 25 cent hands analysed by some of the more experienced people here. Eventually it clicked and I started winning.

I don't really have time to go through a full hand history though.
