Very villain dependent, I dont make a habit of stacking off pre with JJ in the first level because you will run into the nutz so often unless villain is super fishy/ spewy. Villain could be ISO raising on the button pretty wide so the 3b is fine, but im folding to the 4b. He seems tight and is probably not messing around here. You could also flat his raise but it will be tricky to play OOP on a lot of flops.

i thought likewise but it feels hard to lay down jj in a button-blind battle. but you're right, if he seems solid i should lay it down.
flatting would be no option for me since like you said the postflop play would be very difficult.

I probably wouldn't lay this down.
