Dont have a big sample size on the EPs pushers their just unknowns and the CO is a solid regular. Thoughts?

Poker Stars $3.30+$0.20 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t3500/t7000 Blinds + t700 - 9 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Hero (BTN): t55522 M = 3.30
SB: t207830 M = 12.37
BB: t42374 M = 2.52
UTG: t30161 M = 1.80
UTG+1: t277393 M = 16.51
UTG+2: t39530 M = 2.35
MP1: t69284 M = 4.12
MP2: t73668 M = 4.38
CO: t108738 M = 6.47

Pre Flop: (t16800) Hero is BTN with A K
UTG raises to t29461 all in, 1 fold, UTG+2 raises to t38830 all in, 2 folds, CO raises to t108038 all in, Hero?

fist pump call. you are too short to consider mucking imo. additionally first two guys should be wide. 1st pusher should and likely is shoving some -ev hands in this spot, 2nd guy being short himself might call a bit wider then he should and solid reg knows that so he will adjust to their ranges. im going with 88 AJs AQo here most likely if CO is not a nit

this seems to me like a pretty ez fold. you could potentially ladder 2 places for free.

@wanderer i think your CO range is way to wide. its the FT so almost every reg tightens up (correctly) in these spots. I would be very surprised to see AQo for instance.

On a FT there is almost nothing so profitable as watching 3 stacks going allin. We need a very very strong hand to get in the action imo.

wats our calling range here?
the two shorties should be pretty wide C/O is the one we really have to worry about and the only one that covers.

AKs/QQ+ ?

i think QQ+ (maybe even KK+) because the CO is prolly a big favorite to win. and we ladder at least once, of some of the time twice.

but my HRC subscription has expired. cant check it.

I have an HRC trial at the moment (pretty interesting btw).

It gives
UTG 16.3%, 33+ A3s+ A9o+ K9s+ KQo QTs+ JTs
UTG+2 6.3%, 88+ AJs+ AQo+
CO 3.5%, TT+ AKs AKo

Like most of these packages it doesn't let a 4th player come in as far as I can see.

I think this is a call though. If CO wins the hand we ladder 2 the places anyway. For sure we are up against a pair somewhere but a lot of the time an A or K is still good for us (i.e. we are against lower pairs and aces we dominate - particularly from the first two players) and we have fantastic pot odds.

For us to get 8th or 9th there needs to be something sick happen (e.g. UTG has QQ, UTG+1 has JJ and CO has TT and we are the only one eliminated)

It might not be an ICM call still but I think we have future equity right through the final table as a bigger stack.

EDIT:

Ok this is interesting. If we do FGS1 we get
UTG 22.8%, 22+ A2s+ A7o+ K8s+ KTo+ Q9s+ QJo J9s+ T9s
UTG+2 7.1%, 88+ ATs+ AJo+
CO 3.5%, TT+ AKs AKo

then FGS2 says
UTG 25.0%, 22+ A2s+ A7o+ A5o K6s+ KTo+ Q9s+ QTo+ J9s+ T9s
UTG+2 7.9%, 77+ ATs+ AJo+
CO 3.9%, 99+ AKs AKo

It would really start to make a difference if CO got wide enough that he started to have aces lower than AK

I need to buy a supercomputer now so I can do FGS 100
