Hey guys, just wanted some input here. Is this shove with JJ standard? The reasons for me to be hesitant are that UTG has been fairly tight in the small sample size, and that the raise was early and he committed nearly half his stack so I'd have zero fold equity. BB was left to act and would have me covered.

PokerStars - 200/400 Ante 25 NL - Holdem - 7 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG+1: 7.38 BB (VPIP: 11.11, PFR: 13.33, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 18)
MP: 5.31 BB (VPIP: 28.89, PFR: 9.76, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 46)
CO: 6.19 BB (VPIP: 15.68, PFR: 10.89, 3Bet Preflop: 3.50, Hands: 442)
BTN: 16.5 BB (VPIP: 22.22, PFR: 6.25, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 18)
Hero (SB): 11.28 BB
BB: 11.66 BB (VPIP: 26.53, PFR: 8.70, 3Bet Preflop: 8.33, Hands: 51)
UTG: 9.19 BB (VPIP: 11.76, PFR: 7.32, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 85)

7 players post ante of 0.06 BB, Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.94 BB) Hero has J J

fold, UTG+1 raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 11.22 BB and is all-in, fold, UTG+1 calls 4.32 BB and is all-in

Flop: (16.07 BB, 2 players) 5 T J

Turn: (16.07 BB, 2 players) 3

River: (16.07 BB, 2 players) 9

Hero shows J J (Three of a Kind, Jacks)
(Pre 56%, Flop 74%, Turn 82%)
UTG+1 shows K Q (Straight, King High)
(Pre 44%, Flop 26%, Turn 18%)
UTG+1 wins 16.07 BB

ez shove. UTG's raise is pretty bad and should have just jammed. There's no way I'm ever folding JJ here. I can run this hand through ICMizer later and see what it says.

Ok thanks man, I'd appreciate it if you did that. I'm still fairly new to using tools to assess my game. And yes, the UTG play was quite strange.

Ok sweet, thanks man. I've never seen an ICIMIZER screenshot before. I see it is telling me to push TT+, and AKo+.

What do the percentages of 2.6% and 8.0% at the bottom mean?

Also to get this calculation, does it take into account the players VPIP and PFR? Or does it only factor in the chip counts and prize payout structure?

I didnt adjust the ranges as Im not sure how the villains were playing, but with the ranges in there its saying that vs a 8% raise/shoving range given to villain that our shoving range should be 2.6%. Obviously is villain is opening wider than 8% then our shoving range will be wider than 2.6%. The calculation does not take into account the players vpip or prf. It does take into account thr tournament format and thr payout structure as you can adjust if you want it to calculate in terms of $ev or chipev. Obviously at this later stage we want to know the $ev of our play.
