The idea that by making a large obviously commiting bet but not shoving looks stronger. It is a "non all in all in" if it gains any fe cos it looks suss at all then its super valuable.
This bets worked great a year or so ago but as its now seen more often most of the player pool have adjusted and just treat it exactly the same as a shove.
i like to flat and play post flop in these spots and not get my whole stack in here
+1. if you know that OR is laggy, why not keeping his entire range in? He is likely to rep flops and turns that hit your hand hard. You can potentially float even beeing oop too. gl

Yeah, but then you are looking at a flop 4way with AJo (which doesn't play to well on multi way pots). If you want that sure, the call would be a good option, but i still prefer a squeeze here.

Also if you masstable it's a nice little tactic to bring a table to focus with this weird action, and you snap and watch the race/see what he has because when you win the hand, you can really go after other stacks.
Besides, he prob only needs to fold less than 1 time in 5.
