I'm not nitpicking. But the important factor here is effective stack. Where does table average stack some into it?

Def agree with all of "There's never any need to attack other posters, and the forums aren't here to have arguments about who's better than who anyway. Everyone's here to learn. I'm sure even the coaches have their eye opener moments at times."

The last part is definitely true, and I've learnt a lot (mostly small things over time which added up) over the last year for example.
But for anyone to post opinions or disagreements, it's pretty important to post reasons/explanations/justifications because this helps others understand you more, also to see flaws in your thoughts to share with you and help you learn but also just because by thinking to write those yourself, helps you in itself to think better.

I think this thread has mostly run its course anyway.

I was going to try and tidy up this cluster**** of a thread, but it's so bad I can't be bothered, so it's just a lock, because I don't think it's going to end otherwise.

OP, it's fine to shove, certainly what I'd do, but whether you just jam it, or try to get fancy with a smaller bet, it's probably not going to make a huge difference to your long term expectation one way or the other, because it's not really the type of spot which will come up hugely frequently. So while it may be an interesting one, don't sweat about whether you made a big mistake (unless you fold)

note to all - don't derail threads like this again, or some people might be getting a few days break from the forums

Just an FYI for anyone interested, I remembered a thread from a long while back that discussed use of this term, and a debate between the words 'spiteable' and 'exploitable' here
