.5 - 18 man: Shoving 33 late position .5 - 18 man: Shoving 33 late position

I'm thinking this is a bad shove, pushing 33 with more than 10 BB. I think the reason I was willing to push here was because I was sitting in 6th out of 7 players, so I felt some urgency to chip up. Was that the right mindset and move? Or should I have waited for a better spot with my stack?

seems like a pretty std shove at that point in the tournament and with your position in the hand.

Yes, shoving was the best option here.
If you get flatted you have a lot of bad flops and hard decisions. If you get 3bet you have to fold. Open shoving, however, is definitely +EV here.

55+,A8+,A5s+,KT+,K9s+,QTs+ is pretty much unexploitable meaning still +ev if they call any range, in theory. Something like 22+,A9+,A2s+,KT+,K6s+,QT+,Q8s+,JT,J8s+,T8s+,98s,87 s is ok vs a standardish calling range but any signs of them erratically calling stuff like 44/A9/KQs and it'll become -ev.

Top Pig, did you use icmizer or sngwiz to get these ranges? Thanks for detailing the hands here.

I am currently playing $0.25 45m sng and suspect a lot of players would probably call w/ the hands mentioned in the -ev situation.

stacker604, is there a big difference in the skill level b/w $0.25 player pool and the $3.50 pool?

No idea about skill differences. When I came back to online, I was playing in $1.50 games, and then moved to $3.50.

I'm actually quite curious about skill differences myself between $3.50 and $7.00 as I'm almost bankrolled enough to move up.
