shove preflop easy game

hmmm vs most villains in this spot i am shoving pre flop. Assuming that he is a fish I would shove the flop as played

not sure if im shoving this with 13bbs, seems spewy. min raise and call button.

As played you have to bet that flop, just under half pot maybe.

would be better to have more info on villain.

Don't shove pre. Raising is fine.

Bet 1700 or so.

Well i bit weird against most people who call in the BB i check folps like that as there probably never folding to my cBets But I have a pair so i cBet and if he shoves on flop suppose i have to call it and if he flats the cBet shove turn.

Think shove pre at 2s is optimal.

Please, shove pre this. It is better than raise.

why not? do you want to play post flop super shallow with pocket 4s? do you want to fold to a jam? this seems way less optimal than just going all-in and collecting the moneys.

btw, as played i'm bet/calling this flop (and hating it)

if he flats the cbet, i'm done with the hand

I agree with shove. I don't really want to min raise and cbet/fold with 13BB stack.

Even if you're right, the "ainec" is ridiculous. There are good arguments for shoving, but we need to weigh those up with the times we get can away from 99+ type hands when CO or SB has it. If villains aren't flatting too often, ,then you'll find that raising does a similar job to shoving anyway.

It's villain(s) dependent. We need to weigh up all the factors a make a decision. Personally I err on the side of raising but that doesn't mean it's right. Though the argument of not wanting to play postflop doesn't really convince me...

we will have at least some 37% against most peoples shoving ranges anyway, so i don't bother that much if they call me, even the big stacks.

the biggest problem is the pot odds you give to bb. he'll be calling with a lot of speculative trash that is flipping against your hand and would be happily folding to a shove. you just give him cheap equity and put yourself in awkward post-flop situations like this one.

i stand for my opinion. shoving is way better than minraising in this spot.

I think arguments can be made for both min raising and shoving. As played here I would cbet and call or just shove the flop.
