Pre Flop: (pot: 2.1 BB) Hero has Q Q

Hero raises to 2.02 BB, MP raises to 23.95 BB and is all-in, fold, fold, SB calls 19.01 BB and is all-in, fold, Hero ?

I used HRC and it states only AA are +EV on calling.

Imo calling was fine, which is what i've done. But on 2nd thought, i would incline to fold now.

What reasons for calling do you have?

Thanks

AA and KK are a small part of Villain's range. Never folding here in a tourney like this, ever. Call is +EV.
In some respects you can discount AA or KK slightly as they are 3betting to something other than a shove.

did you notice the call by the sb?

I think we should call here, think the ranges are wide enough we will be good. And we can come out with a huge stack with a great shot at first

Hell no....good spot.
At this stack depth I would still struggle to find the fold button though. Given the overbet by MP SB could still be wide enough and have some lower pps but probably looking at 1010+, AK for SB? One of those spots where you fear the worst but kinda have to click call anyway.
But maybe thats why Im a break even punk.

My thoughts exactly. Have to call, but I feel JJ are a fold.

Yeah I mean I don't like it but as others have said the ranges are wide enough.

This shallow with 6 left we just have to click call.

Plus the times we do win we're just in a crazy good spot.

I'm having a hard time figuring out if the HH is correct or not. If this is a FT of a 180, there should be 270k chips in play, and as far as i can tell, you guys have a combined 90 bbs at 500/1000 leaving 180k unaccounted for.

Anyways, Im giving MP a jamming range of 99-KK, AQo+,AQs+ and SB a calling range of TT+, AQs+, AKo+. This makes QQ a call and JJ a fold. HRC will not take into account that you can pick up infinite bully spots vs the rest which are gonna be in ICM hell, so trusting it blindly isn't advised.

If it's not final table, really easy call.
