this guy became quite agressive. this is his 4th minraise in a row his a fish only 400games played...

If he has minraised 4 hands in a row doesn't mean he's a fish. Very likely he's playing smart and abusing the fact he has a large stack and there are a couple of shorties at the table.

In this hand I give him some respect as BB has less than 4bb and is unlikely to fold (as well as sb being very short) and fold. You don't have much fe either.

Good point, particullary the fact the blinds are short should def narrow his range.

Do think the short stacks are narrowing his range because he is some kind of weaker player? Because if his a good player he should be wider there.

And he is wider than average and probably know what he is doing, he should know too that he will get more often than not to a showdown because shortstacks from the blinds. Saying this, we can assume that even he is wider, he probably adjust to the blinds stacks (so is not so wide as we first tought)

No its the opposite Dguiga, If he is likely to go to showdown with the sb or bb he wants a stronger hand, and will have a narrower range (atleast in general). Doubt he is levelling him to think that people will assume am narrow due to shorties so I'll open wider, since they think I am narrow.
    12-23-2013 , 06:11 AM
Yeah, he should be tighter if he knows he's going to be called a lot.
    12-23-2013 , 06:15 AM
That's what i tried to say, probably got to complicated while explaining it .
    12-23-2013 , 04:24 PM
    Easy fold.
    12-23-2013 , 06:40 PM
with that stack i prefer to open than to 3bet, doubt hes folding very much at all

I don't feel like villain raising into these BB stack sizes has much to do with his range, personally.

I think the bigger issue is that he's UTG and if he's smart at all, isn't going to raise a 4th time, UTG, with trash
