Do you guys call this shove? Its FT so i assume his range is pretty tight, but with such a huge stack i should be taking those thin spots?

Yeah i call, read dependant but villain shouldnt be that tight if hes half descent. Theres only one stack shorter then him and its very marginal so his range is hardly effected by ICM. Id be a lot more concerned if villain was a reg and min raised.

I don't think there's enough A7-/66- in his range for a call to be good. I would fold.

Assuming you´re readless on villain, I hardly think 77 is ahead in this spot, at best it´s a coin flip imo... Fold and keep your stack until you get in a better spot...

Do you fold small pairs in his spot?

I think I would fold here.

You are likely flipping, but with your stack you will have much better opportunities to exploit the small stacks.

Save chips for better spot

I don't know... it's not really relevant what I do. But the fact that people don't makes me fold this.

It's relevant what people generally shove in this spot. If they shove small pairs also 77 here becomes a call. Just saying.

Its irrelevant what Robinho does cuz you cant compare him vs avg mediocre 2.5s player.

I don't think this is close at all. seems like a pretty standard call.

Been a while since playing the 2s but folding here seems pretty weak. This is the adv of a big stack that - you don't need to push a wider range as he would in his spot.
Might be marginal but you're looking FTW and you would still have a big stack if you lost to push around smaller stacks.

Then it's even more a call.

If he is a reg im calling here.

vs a random i think im still calling a lot of the time as well i think, theres no one behind you. Seems like a good spot to accumulate chips

easy call 4 me... ur stacksize is important 4 this spot and makes it easy 4 me.. when u loose its not too bad so a coinflip shouldnt make u worrie imo
03-09-2013 , 07:01 AM
yup calling like 77+ AJ+
03-09-2013 , 09:11 AM
Agree with most of you guys, I think it's auto call.

I would call... its only 88+ that has you in properly bad shape. Flipping as a small favourite vs most 2 over combos...
