180man grinding - BACK TO BASICS open-raising spots 180man grinding - BACK TO BASICS open-raising spots

Sorry to unload all my worries and HH here, but I would LOVE some opinions on very basic hands. Seems I've been playing too many hypers or STT's and I find myself confused with what ranges I should open in what position in 180man's. Am I being too nitty?

Thanks

Really annoying when people post multiple hands in 1 post dude most people look through these forums on phones an it makes it really difficult to comment on them by the time you scroll up an down so try posting 1-2 hands at time plus I think this post belongs in the mttsng forum

1,2,3 - fold
4 - push
5,6,7,8 - fold
9 - super easy shove

hands are too basic to explain anything deeper.

sure, didn't know there was a mttsng section sorry about that. not sure why it makes it more annoying to have multiple hands in one post, same as going through multiple replies in a thread I guess? but ok thanks for input

Ok, thanks Durix. Glad I am not too tight, I folded most of these hands.

Hand #4 (A7c in MP with 13bb) is an open shove? Isn't that a little wide for 13bb?

4. folding preflop pre ante is not a mistake but ur hand is too strong too raise/fold and too weak to raise/call so push is best option.

Assuming 9 means 8 here (there is no 9), agree 100% with everything.

People openshove even 15-20BB depending on the spot. Yeah it's seems kind of a large shove, but it's what the kids are doing these days. As mentioned, r/f with A7s is ugly, r/c isn't really enticing either.
02-20-2015 , 01:21 PM
great, thanks for the clarification everybody. yes I wasn't considering r/f or r/c with A7c, only considering open fold but ok hand is too strong for that.

It's actually prob a borderline decision, prob not a big error either way.

1: Fold, 2: Fold, 3 2,5x/Fold , 4 I could make arguments for both shoving and folding this hand. 5: 2,5x/fold. 6: fold. 7 fold. 8 fold, 9. shove/fold.

1&2 fold.
3: I raise to mix it up once in a while.
4: I think both shoving and folding is fine.
5. Same as 3.
6&7 fold
8: fold
9: shove.

Fold all except last one if you don't know what to do.
