villain was tight player with 9/9/4 over 50 hands! consider this and the fact that this is for 1/2 our stack and we r not even getting 2:1 pot odds, i think we must find a fold here right?

This looks like a close one in terms of ICM. I think it depends how deep we are, how close were you to the bubble? You only have 9bb behind, what was the tournament average? 9bb looks above table average but if you're short stacked relative to the rest of the tournament I think we have to call.

50 hands is significant but its not a huge sample so it could have been that he wasn't getting many hands. With that in mind consider his entire shoving range (which at 4bb should be wide) and try to make the most +EV decision accordingly. You're not getting the best price but its only AA and AK that is crushing you. Against KK you're still going to hit you're A 1 in 3 times and a very large part of his range are going to be medium to high PP as well as rag aces and any two picture cards. Its not fantastic but I think you should almost always be calling here. Its not always possible to pick you're spots perfectly and with the blinds increasing this was a decent opportunity to chip up and eliminate an opponent. Again ICM will depend on how deep we are, if this is close to the bubble then it is probably closer to a fold. Saying that Im not an expert and maybe others here will disagree with me.

Snap call, he's shoving any ace here with 4BB!!!
You just ran into the top of his range!
Click jam and feel more than good about it. You are literally crushing his range.
+ICM only really becomes a factor when payjump becomes significant => FT and you need to take this spot to reach it!

Don't really know why daveydoove made that big speech about it being not the easiest decision. This is an easy easy shove.

Also daveydoove you said only two hands you're afraid of are AK and AA. You said KK doesn't count because you will hit Aces quite often (which i agree with), but in that case shouldn't AK not matter aswell? You get yourself same 3 outs (3queens).. Again not trying to argue with you, just don't think you should be searching for such deep meanings in easy hands

I guess it would but you still have less equity against ak. With aq vs kk you pretty much flop him dead when hitting your ace. With aq if you hit a q he he still has an over. I only said it's a tough spot if we're approaching the bubble. As OP said its for half our stack and we're not getting a great price. There are spots in terms of ICM where it is correct to fold qq pre flop, where ordinarily you wouldn't even consider folding.
