Stacks seem too low to set mine and a bit too weak to shove so do we like folding this?

I shove. He has +20bb (7 players) and he dont need a call anyone after ship from somebody so his open range can be little wired. You have massive FE if you push he call you only with top. I dont think so if he call you even with AQ. Im really think about pushing with any pair in this spot.

I think we can set mine here I think a shove with 77 here is not bad either but i would flat and then take the rest of my hands to shove mode if we don't flop a set

If we're mostly going to get called by higher pairs and AK then why is 77 a good hand to jam with when we have no blocker and almost always only 2 outs if called?

Even something like a suited wheel ace is going to have 3 outs against most of his calling range*.

His stats suggest he's tight - admittedly over a small sample - so what is he opening here in the LJ position maybe 10% - assuming he's wider than his stats maybe 66+ ATs+ AJo+ KJs+ KQo QJs+? When we jam he might call 99+, AKo, AQs with 99 and AQs as maybes. It's maybe borderline +chipEV then, assuming none of the remaining three players wake up with JJ+ and join the party but this is FT2 and we don't need to risk chips for no reason.

It's borderline to set mine. We have odds but I would toss this because we don't see the flop every time - the players behind may well squeeze, whether with or without a legitimate hand and also ICM again.

*Actually the equity if called is about the same - A5s has about 31% whatever but 77 varies from 28%-33% depending on which of AQs and/or 99 are in the range - also more of the A5s equity is in the form of chops (board runs out as two pair) which is worth more than half a win in an ITM situation whereas 77 almost never chops so A5s is still better.

all samples are just too small for us to know theirs playing style. This is easy 3bet-shove spot. We're to short to set mine. For set minning we need AT LEAST 25BB in effective stack.
