Hello, please, should I cbet in this spot? The CO is a calling station and the SB is a tight passive player. Thanks.

Why cbet the flop? We don't have much fold equity and we can't bet for value. I'd just check it down.

There really isn't any point at which we can turn our hand into a bluff; If we bet the flop we get called too much and barrelling off is probably going to be spew. If we bet the turn it's to get Kx and 99-JJ to fold but we can't rep Ax anymore and we'd only be repping 55 otherwise, so we can only really succeed in making 99-JJ fold. Betting the river (without betting flop or turn before) makes no sense either as we only rep 22, 33 + 76s.

Pretty horrible flop for you. Check it down unless an 8 hits.

    CO is awesome.

You are putting your hand face up by checking. Cbet for sure. You are representing an ace by betting flop. Check/fold if opponents call.

Edit: Didnt read that CO was a station. I think limping along is better than raising here since your Cbet will get called more often than not.

    As played, check/fold all streets.

So I guess we should bet the river to ensure that a king gets at least a street of value from our 88 right?

wp, you might just want to make it 200/215 because of CO
