WTF Happened?! WTF Happened?!

I got bored and deposited $50 on Lock thinking I could degen a few SNG's and have a good time.
But this new software updated is TERRIBLE.

As we speak, I'm being blinded down in an SNG because the stupid application never launched the poker table.
I'm just sitting here watching the lobby and seeing my chips go down slowly. I can't get the poker table to show up at all.

What a waste of money, I can't play at all.

Is this going to be fixed anytime soon? Can i get a refund? Or should I just issue a chargeback on my credit card?

I'm on a Mac. The old software always worked fine. Why did you change it?

I feel like this is a joke.

How can you release this ridiculous piece of software and allow people to play real money poker on this garbage?

Oh god, I just remembered I gave you the last 4 digits of my social to deposit with my Credit Card. ****, Why did i do that?!Now I can just tell my identity is going to be stolen soon. I can't believe I'd be dumb enough to give you all that personal information and my credit card number.

Should I request a new card number for Visa? I guess I better start getting my credit history checked.

I'm not even mad at Lock anymore.

I blame our ****ty American politicians for this bull****.
If they would just get their heads out of their asses and allowed Pokerstars to operate in the U.S. I wouldn't be forced to go to these sketchy websites to play poker.

Now i'm out $50 bucks.

If you didn't act like such an idiot in your post I'm sure the reps would help you out and get you your $50 back. But now I hope they just look past your post and don't even waste their time.

odds that the first three posts are actually by a real person?

laser - anyone with a brain in your exact situation would not be out $50 nor saying they are. But you are apparently too weird to figure it out.

If you deposited just to degen a few sngs then you probably shouldn't be to concerned right?

laser- you need to tone it down and behave better on the forums.

My suggestion is that you contact lock, say that you had a glitch in the software during the tournament, and ask for a refund of the tournament fee.

It's a really simple solution. Your extreme and harsh reaction to all of this is quite odd. Nobody at all is apologizing for lock. People are just observing that you are handing this incredibly strangely.

Yeah OP. Assuming your story is true, you should be really nice to them
Seriously though, why do people think anybody is overreacting in their dealing w/ Lock? W/out threatening their well-being, you are crossing no lines imo. Somehow the reps and others in this forum think customer service only comes w/ a sweet attitude. Maybe that's why the state of poker is where it is at? Blame the DOJ or the US all you want, but Lock not having support who answer their customers is sickening.
Then again, maybe you all enjoy waiting in long lines at grocery stores bc they don't have enough cashiers, or holding for hours when getting customer service over-the-phone?

He doesn't have to be really nice to them. He just has to write to support and say, "Whoa. Your stupid tourney never took me to my seat. It was tourney # ______. What an annoying technical glitch. Yo, Refund my money."

Yes, you can actually overreact in such a situation. OP very obviously did.

If I go to a grocery store with long lines and not enough cashiers should I then react way out of control and scream that they are a bunch of liars and thieves and scammers?

I might even call them out from the back of the line and say, "hey, are you guys going to open more registers or what? Let's go already" and that would be WAY more productive than OP saying, "my money is gone forever you crooks so now I'm going to the bank to do a chargeback" (LOL??!?!?!)

If the cashier at the grocery store shorted me on the change or the beverage machine stole my dollar I'm not going to go, "ARRRRRGHGHGHGH-A-BARRGA!! YOU CROOKS SHOULD AL BE LOCKED UP!! MY DOLLAR IS GONE!!!! FOREVER!!!!"

Just say, "ummm, I want my money." Be annoyed when you say it for all I care because it is certainly kind of annoying.

Nobody is saying he has to even be polite. But he can make a thread just going all crazy about it and say, "OMG MY MONEY IS GONE FOREVER!!!!" or he can just say, "Yo, you took my money. Give me a refund...and fix your damn software so I don't have to waste time in my attempts to be a customer at your business."

I just don't understand at all why anyone in OP's situation would immediately write off his $50 and then go running to their bank to do a charge-back about it...especially when that charge-back stuff at the bank kinda looks bad....and also especially when it's obvious that Lock will refund him the $$ if he simply tells them to refund his money. LDO.

This happens to me on a daily basis. Ill be sat, unable to take my seat, and watch myself get blinded out. It is a terrible glitch and i hope LOCK get this fixed ASAP but their customer service team and been helpful and transfer me my funds back if i send them the time of the tourney and the tournament ID.

Enough said, learn to be an adult and approach the situation in a coherent manner and you will get a response in a few days most likely refunding you your money
