I'm a white level VIP. Have been for last 3 months. I can get to 1k FPP through about 7k hands (I play PLO10). I think I get 15% rakeback and then I can turn in my points. So 1k points is about $14-$17

I'm just trying to figure out if 36% rakeback would be better and just forget about VIP...and take the lower FPP.

Thoughts? I'm confused.

I'm also confused. I dump around $80-100 into Mtt's a day, which would benefit me more?

Rakeback probably since you aren't gonna be paying much rake

Just figure out how much rake u pay then take how much money u get from VIP and u get the overall %. From there u can figure out if its close to 36% or not then make your decision, not hard.

Sounds like RB would be better for u but thats just a guess

Once you get to Black VIP, it is better to go on the VIP program. Silver VIP is very close to same as rakeback because points are earned at much faster rate and Ronin with rakeback makes you rake double to get bonus. Assuming Lock won't have a promotion every month, you are better off staying on rakeback till you can maintain BlackVIP.

You can switch if you want. Ronin isn't based off of points like it was last month. It is based off of rake to be fair to the 6 max and hu players. So whether your on rb or the vip program it doesn't change anything for the ronin.

I'm wondering this too. I've been playing on their VIP system for the last 2 weeks but just was 'approved' today by my affiliate. Now I'd rather just stay on the VIP program since I'll definitely make Black. If for some reason I can't be switched back to VIP, will I still receive points to trade in for cash, Ronin Rake chase, and my bonus from 'the future'?

Just so you know rakeback players have to generate double the points for Ronin. Basically you get 5% more rb value on VIP for Robin. You also get 3%ish for points exchange. Regardless if Ronin is running on not Black Vip is better than rakeback.

I thought with Ronin there were only a limited # of prizes available. So if you're too slow with making rake you dont get any of that money. Is that wrong?

Yes. Go to their website under promos then ronin for exact details

I am a rakeback player atm. If I generate $750 rake this month, then ask to be switched to VIP, will I start next month as Silver VIP or from ground zero?

Has anyone calculated how much different is Silver VIP from Rakeback?
Now that rb players can exchange points for cash and Ronin is based on rake paid, the deposit bonus clear rate is the only increase, right?
Is it worth switching before I get Black VIP?

My mistake, it seems that I still get it at 1/2 rate so I guess Silver VIP is better than rb, at least with Ronin.
