Yeah, it's only the 8th FFS, so that's like what, 3 business days tops so far?

I get caution when feeling any sort of optimism about anything Lock related these days, but being worried because your check hasn't cleared in 2-3 business days is just silly.

For a while, Lock's foreign checks only had 8 digits in the routing number, instead of the standard 9.

Lots of people had issues with those checks, and some banks took 6-8 weeks to verify them.

The problem is, these checking accounts tend to get closed not long after the checks get sent out, and there's a good chance that the account will be shut down after 6-8 weeks.

I understand foreign checks can take longer to clear, but it just seems to me that "check CAN NOT be processed" is different than something that i would expect to see like check still pending.. something like that. I don't know what terms the bank uses. It just seems to me "check CAN NOT be processed" means your check is garbage.. there are no funds available for this check.. I don't know.. I suppose this is good news though as i just checked my account and it says the check was credited to my account(not available though). On friday, it went from check credited to "deposit correction"-check can not be processed... Anyway, i'll keep the thread updated, as i hope u guys will as well with how your situation is going.. Don't want to jinx it... but it seems as if the check hasn't bounced and the funds are available in my account. Phewww, I think.

Requested a check on 1/25 and the check is still only at the "Verified" stage.

When you deposit a foreign check your bank will processes it like a regular check showing an immediate credit then it will subtract the amount of the check as a correction while the check is clearing the foreign bank then subsequently add the credit back after the foreign check clears. Most large banks can complete the process within 10 days some small banks may take up to a month.

What are your Lock names? Good to hear the nightman got his cash. When/where did he post that?

What were told for the last 7 months before you actually got paid? Did they tell you on 12/24/12 that you would be getting your money in 7 months? Not sure props are in order but WTF....
