Congrats to those receiving them, hopefully see mine sometime this week. Nice to see lock trying to make some progress may actually play there again if it continues to show improvement even if Im nearing the 6 month mark.

I work in the banking industry. As someone said previously you will never really know if your check clears. You will only hear from your financial institution if it bounces.

Given that the checks if are drawn off foreign banks, that process can take a little longer than the average. I would give it at least 7-10 business days before I was confident. It could be more in a foreign scenario. However I imagine since it's drawn off Canadian Banks (at least that's what my first check was) It's more legit and quicker than a check drawn off a Nigerian institution.

Can you please address the aspect where he points out that your company lied to him? This seems to be pretty common for Lock.

Good post. All of this is quite accurate information btw for everyone. My recent check (deposited yesterday) was also from a Canadian bank. Even if your money shows as available in your bank account after a couple days, more of a 7-10 day timeline is best before declaring the money as your own.

I will indeed update at the end of next week (around June 21st) whether or not the check is seemingly in the clear. If you're given the option, choose Western Union over receiving a check, just my opinion.

The FedEx tag was indeed a check, and the check did get into my bank account. (At least for now)

received my check today. Requested on 1/22

So I just got a check delivered today. I had been waiting for one since Dec 4, when it was completed on March 14 I initiated another. I received the second check today. So I am hopeful but I am still waiting for the check I asked for Dec 4.

Missing info: After a long wait I corresponded with Shane on my first check, he told me it had to be reissued, that was on May 16. He said I should expect it middle of next week. I still don't have it, but still hopeful maybe it is actually in transit, I will update you about check clearing, fingers crossed.
