I'm assuming he's contracted by Lock but not technically a "Lock employee".

Well if hes a Lock Pro thats one thing (which he is listed as on Lock's site), but if he works directly for Lock in the Poker Room it's another. Which is it?

If you don't work directly for Lock, then I feel the undertitle and color is misleading obv, but If you do work for Lock as their Poker Room Manager, why would you say you're NOT a Lock Poker Employee? Not trying to stir anything, just honestly curious thats all.

If you are in the U.S. you probably do not want to be considered an official employee. Get it?

I get what you're saying it terms of being an employee of a foreign poker site and living in the US..but

How can Eric be a Lock Pro listed on the site and also their Poker Room Manager from his Undertitle and Color? Sponsored Pros are allowed to work directly as manager of their poker room?

I'm sure I'm missing something here, but maybe HE could clear it up.

I'm not exactly sure what you want me to clear up? I'm happy to try and clear anything up, but I'm not really sure what it is. I am/was a sponsored pro for Lock Poker from March 2009 to present. In Feb of this year I started acting as the Poker Room manager as well.

As far as management goes there are some things I'm both allowed and not allowed to do since I'm not a direct employee. I have A LOT of input into the direction of the room, and a direct line of contact with people who can do a lot of things for you all, which is a big part of why I'm here.

I DO NOT have direct access to any player information, or any of the back end systems at Lock or at Merge. This is by design as I'm not an employee and I also play in some of the games on Lock, so having any visibility into the back end systems would be a huge conflict of interest.

Does that clear it up at all?

Thanks for responding, yes It does clear some things up. If you have talked about this before, I apologize. I assumed you worked directly at Lock but as you said thats not the case. Since working as a standing Poker Room Manager at Lock directly with them and also being a sponsored pro and playing on at Lock would certainly be a conflict of interest.

The title and color confused me I guess. Thanks again for clearing things up, now when people bring it up (because I'm sure this isn't the first nor the last) you can revert back to this post
