Normally they should be able to see what the stacksizes of everyone is for the tournaments during the last 24h or so, so they can distribute according to that.

Not sure if they did that, but in my case 1400$ is more than i'd expected for a stack of 50K (i would however have expected this with a stack of 100K+), so maybe they did look at this.
I have not gotten anyting and I had 10K chips in the 100K when the problems started so I should have at least gotten my buyin back

I'd like a formal explanation from Lock defining at what point did they officially decide to cancel the tournament(s) and why. Obviously it was due to site issues, but I would like to know at what point they decided to cancel the tournament(s) and why so I can understand which players get compensated and which do not as per their MTT cancelation policies. Also, I'd like the see the official results of the 100k against their cancelation, perhaps timestamps to bust outs as well.

I'm asking for more clarity Lock. This is real money we are talking about, how about restoring some of the trust with the players that make your site run?

They have to be canceled when the first player misses a hand at that point the integrity of the game is compromised

ZOMG You're killing me. 1 person getting D/C'd doesn't make for a reason to cancel a tournament. The entire field experiencing site issues does. Everyone knows the real issues started probably around 180 people left in the 100k or so. Asking for $109 coupons is driving me up a wall. If you cannot recognize how much equity you're holding at this point in the tournament then you did very well to make it that far in the first place.

LOCK PLEASE CLARIFY AS TO WHEN THE TOURNAMENTS WERE CANCELED AND WHY. Then proceed to compensate players as per the cancelation policies.

If Lock has the hutzpah to claim that the tournaments were canceled long after their site issues compromised the play then they should expect site traffic to drop off in retaliation.

I was awarded with the lock lotto about 5 days ago and havnt been able to claim my prize. i have been emailing support@lockpoker.com and support@lockpoker.eu and havnt had a SINGLE response from anyone about anything. I also just sent a short email about the 6+ tournys i was regged in that cancled and how i only recieved about $70 so far when being in 3rd place in chips (34k) in the $22 $8K. Lock has pretty much ruined it with me unless my account is creditted with at least $600.

RIZEN WHATS THE WORD DAWG?

there were reall issues for me for a half hour earlier in the tournament while there was still like 600 peeps left... It didn;y start then for you?

Where are the Lock Reps in all this? Why aren't they trying to communicate while figuring out this nightmare?

There was one instance of lag prior to irreparable lag in the 100k IMO. I'd say 1500/3000 level was when it all went FUBAR in the 100k.

the issues started before first break not with 180 people left ldo

You must be one of the lucky ones tranny or just want to take the cash, seems the problem for most started around 5 pm est when it locked and went on break for like 15 min while others were still playing then several times after that if was off and on. Congrats to you and hope you get your cash but don't comment on other matters if you don't know what was going on

Yes it does if it was due to the site, it compromises the integrity of the game, if you can't see that I can't explain it

You can't cancel a tournament early on when players are deep-stacked just because of a lag in the server.
However, when a tournament is in its bubble stage. Then all of the sudden every player in the tournament is sitting out, but the cards are being delt. The tournament should be cancelled. There was a point with around 130 people left when the server was dealing cards, but no one could sit. The software would just Auto-fold to the bb and deal the next hand. At this point the tounranment should have been cancelled. Instead it was paused, then restarted by an admin. Anyone who busted after that pause, restart, should be given an equity share.

Have all you guys been paid back yet??

First, I have not been paid anything. I did not make it to the official cancelation because I couldn't play after the 1000/2000 level.

Second, everyone at my table was "sitting in." I have a hard time believing that a large % of the field was screwed after the first break when 0% of that group was represented at my table.

Third, I was bumped off the site multiple times and had to move from my Mac to a PC in an effort to try anything to get back into the game. When I was able to get back on after being bumped the first time (the "first break" bump) everyone was "sitting out" and the tournament was officially "paused" by the "tournament floor" and then play resumed. The 2nd time, I logged back in after being bumped, again, everyone was "sitting out" and quickly returned within 30sec of my return (I had to watch my SB be open folded as Lock would not allow me to "take my seat").

If you weren't there for it, then you should know us "lucky" players were forced to watch everyone time out per action making play progress at a rate of fewer than 10hands/hr (post the 1000/2000 level). It's this lag and being D/C'd multiple times that makes me think that they were able to resolve the initial issues before the site became overwhelmed. However, Lock still probably let the tournament run for another hour before canceling it. The tournament is hardly running at the rate of 10hands/hr IMO.

For the record, I don't like hearing people brag about their payouts either. People who were compensated seem to have been fortunate enough to receive an inflated amount as fewer players were remaining in the field due to technical issues and not play.

Again, I think Lock should formally communicate with the players as to when tournaments were officially canceled and why. They also need to provide an explanation as to why they were canceled and why they were canceled when they were. By playing on their site I have agreed to their MTT cancelation policies. I think I am entitled to an explanation as to what occurred today and a detailed explanation as to Lock's resolution and why.

lag, the tourney completely stopped for a lot of players and kicked them off their tables and then would not re-connect, please refer to the earlier post in this thread, seemed to start a litle after 4:31 pm est and continue on for several hours. That is not lag, that is a problem with the site

I agree lock should say what was going on and why, I was able to get back in but had missed several hands and then it was hit or miss going forward, several people sat out numerous hands at my table, by choice or the fact they could not get on, I don't know. But judging all the circumstances involved the tourney should have been canceled early on, referring to the 100K
