Yeah cancel all the tourneys and reschedule them for next week with double prize money same buy-in would be a correct way to handle this mess.

I will say this: How Lock handles this is going to tell us a lot about them. If they get this as close to right as possible in the end I will be okay with it. It's not as if there aren't software/connection/etc issues on Pokerstars or elsewhere. It's just that they handle it with the utmost professionalism. That this 100k tourney has now been paused, lagged, died and whatever other awful thing you want to say and it is still running is a problem. The blinds have escalated despite us not playing hands, many people sat out portions of the tournament.

the longer they wait to cancel the tournies the more emails and issues they are going to have to resolve. Which in turn makes their response time even more unbearable than it was which causes more emails and frustrations. This method of dealing with problems has a multiplier effect that will continually cause problems. Whats also most likely causing all the lag is that everyone is logging in an out as to try and get up and running amd its become a traffic jam shut down the mtts and refund all buyins that were made after the start of the lag and the tournies that were already started should distribute the money based on chip count at the time the lag began.

Yep. Tried to restart and now getting "Failed to connect to server. Retry?" with an OK button..

Yeah, also scared to restart. Have tried to not do that after seeing how difficult it was to reconnect at times today. Think it's best to just keep it open for now.

Imagine this happenning at the WSOP, tables x,x and x you aren't playing this hand but we will take your blinds and antes or in any other sport, team x you can't play the next few plays but we will still take the results of the play. I mean really what else can they do but cancel refund and re-schedule
