No more rakeback? No more rakeback?

07-22-2011 , 01:55 AM
I sent the following e-mail to Lock support earlier today:

Hi, right now I have rakeback on RPM. But I have been inactive there for 60 days now, and I signed up for Lock Poker before June 1st. So is it possible for me to get rakeback now? Please let me know. Thank you.

and this is the reply I got:

Hi there,

I am afraid as of May 31st, Rakeback is no longer offered and the ability to enrol players has been removed from our system on a Network level. But we have a fantastic VIP Program where you can earn 45% back. Please go here for additional details, http://lockpoker.eu/vip/
All our best,

Elle

I'm just wondering if anyone here in a similar situation was successful in getting rakeback after June 1st?

Sorry, customer support was correct. Unfortunately there is no way to get rakeback now.

The good news is that they are also correct in the fact that if you can rake $1k+ a month then the VIP Program is a far better option for you anyways. Please let me know if I can answer any more questions for you.

I responded to this e-mail as well, but just putting here. If you HAVE a rakeback account on another skin AND are inactive for 60+ days then you CAN transfer your rakeback between skins.

I was actually VERY surprised at this answer and i'm still not 100% clear on what the process is for this, but I heard it directly from Merge.

I have rakeback now. Rizen, thank you very much for taking care of it promptly.
