So I'm waiting on a MTCN (western union) that might come anytime soon...
(hopefully)
But... b/c of circumstances (military related), I will not be able to get to my computer or western union for 6 weeksish (probably more)

My question: will an MTCN expire? How long do I have between when I first get it and go to WU?

Says this in the cashier history page:

Payments must be collected within 25 days once the MTCN has been issued.

Then is it possible to get my parents to check up on my email, get the mtcn, and go to wu themselves?

You need to pickup the WU yourself it cant be picked up by a 3rd party.

If you shoot me an email with how long you are away for and when you get back we can look at the best possible solution for you.

This is likely a long shot, but you'd think with the amount of P2P trading that goes on, and the volumes of some of the trades moving back and forth...someone might do folks like this a solid and trade them 1:1 - especially US players. It would be a great way to say thanks for what these folks do and get them the money they can use a lot faster.

I'd definitely go for it for our military people at small levels here and there when I could. I know Lock is selling for a shade below .40 in the P2P transfer thread, but like I said...if anyone deserves a break, it's the people in our military.

Don't worry. It's gonna take a lot longer than 6 weeks for Lock to send you the mtcn#.

There are pretty simple ways to verify this...lol. Or you could use common sense, which probably north of half of all folks scammed in P2P trades tend to lack. Just a thought, in any case.
