I have been posting on their Facebook for quite a while. They remove comments if they are "anti-social" but if you ask them a legitimate question they will leave it up and not respond.

They weren't answering questions with the banners here....

Having money lost on AP I have the same feeling now as I did then that the site was about to go bellyup.
I'm right there with you man. The capped 1k and 500 withdraws that trickled out post BF made AP's financial situation pretty clear. Locks at 3k/6months for checks and 2.5k/4 months for WU. OK its tough to get funds into the US, I'll give them that. But ROW withdraws taking 3+ months also? Not allowing profits to be sent to ROW players to cashout (that their own "pros" are doing)? Segregating cash tables so they don't have to payout more funds to other skins? Canceling huge withdraws that were pending for months for some made up money laundering accusation? All of this while paying huge marketing expenses and renting castles for lavish vacations. Honestly, this looks worse than AP post BF and that says A LOT.

If your going to offer games that payout 10k+ while having no method to actually get these funds to your players when they win then you can't call it money laundering when they sell their balance to ROW players at a discount. The only other option is waiting 1-2 years for the full payout.

pls respond
That's simply not true. There is nothing in the UIGEA that prohibits U.S. banks from processing deposits onto online poker sites. The UIGEA merely requires U.S. banks to keep records of these deposits. Most U.S. banks, being risk averse, decided they didn't want to keep such records, which is why the major poker sites shut down on Black Friday were engaging in massive bank fraud.

Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA)/Regulation GG

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), signed into law in 2006 (mandatory effective date of June 1, 2010, prohibits any person engaged in the business of betting or wagering (as defined in the Act) from knowingly accepting payments in connection with the participation of another person in unlawful Internet gambling. The Department of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve Board have issued a joint final rule, Regulation GG, to implement this Act. As defined in Regulation GG, unlawful Internet gambling means to "place, receive or otherwise knowingly transmit a bet or wager by any means which involves the use, at least in part, of the Internet where such bet or wager is unlawful under any applicable Federal or State law in which the bet or wager is initiated, received or otherwise made".

Restricted transactions are prohibited from being processed through your account or banking relationship with us if your account is considered a commercial account. Commercial accounts are defined as any account that is not a consumer customer. Restricted transactions generally include, but are not limited to, those in which credit, electronic fund transfers, checks or drafts are knowingly accepted by gambling businesses in connection with the participation by others in unlawful Internet gambling. Banks are required to block unlawful Internet gambling debit and credit card transactions.

You're right, but they were actively posting and avoiding real answers to real questions, now they have totally disappeared.

I'm guessing that they agreed to take the banners down without much of a fight. If keeping them up and providing answer to people here was important to them they would still be here.

I think somehow in their sick twisted world, they blame 2+2 members for their problems. This is not a Lock Poker Customer Support Forum, it's a joke. I'm starting to think the joke is on us though.

judging by the couple of articles i've read these days on gambling911 about lock poker, I would bet good money that they're being paid to be "sympathetic" towards Lock

So OP is one and done? Post, instant log off and not even a login since posting.

Disappointing.

Thanks for providing another voice to support Shane, Joseph!

Read between the lines. Lock Poker blames its customers for its problems.
05-06-2013 , 03:52 PM
does make sense that now 2+2 is not a market for new victims they move on , and write this place off as loss. I don't see them even attempting now to continue there charade here. Makes perfect sense if your a shady company , to move on and write this off.

I think they may have come to the erroneous conclusion that people were just unhappy with the messenger (Shane) rather than the message. They could have come up with the idea to "replace" Shane with this phony Joseph character, basically say the exact same crap Shane has been spewing, and hoping that would satisfy the 2+2 community and restore their ads.

Of course, the response was overwhelmingly negative (and people fingered Joseph as Shane), so I am assuming they just gave up and realized that they wouldn't be able to fool the masses and get back in good standing. With that realization, they quit.

What ever happened to Rizen (Eric Lynch)? He seemed like a guy who was actually really trying. I think at one point he said if Lock ever got really shady, he would quit? Is he still employed by Lock?

They had to have figured that if they didn't give some sort of new information, that we wouldn't just be happy with just a name change. We play cards people, most of us are quite the thinkers, at least in comparison to your average person. I'm shocked that they didn't at least try to say something different in the message so we could at least make the assumption it was someone new and not Shane.

It's like if McDonald's were to add the "2x cheeseburger" to their menu and then expect their customers to think it was something different than the double cheeseburger. Even McDonald's knows it can't pull that one on their fast food customers. You're telling me that Lock really thought they could give us another Shane and we'd be all caught up in the name change? Cmon now..

Yes, in addition to being shady, Lock has also been incompetent and out-of-touch.

AP/UB was the exact same way. Remember all of the ridiculous stories they initially peddled about the cheating through "leaks", hoping one would stick?

I really do believe that Lock thought that putting out the same stupid message from a different account would somehow calm the masses.

They're really that clueless.

Calling right now.

No Lock Rep will ever post here again
05-06-2013 , 05:46 PM
Its pretty awesome that 2+2 allows lock to troll all of its customers like this.
Make a big fuss to get a new rep that posts 1 message which answers almost no ones questions about anything, only to see him not log in for 2-3 days.

Its pretty amazing, I'm being trolled for 5 figures.
Great conversation you guys had.
Like everyone elses conversation with Lock, that talk itself is great,
The result is another story.

at least the games have been ridiculously good lately. i guess a lot of the winners have realized they can't get their money and have quit. Or people with no talent or skills who were making $ through the marketplace are actually having to play now before they can withdraw. Either way, the site is shady as hell but the games seem really good the past week or so.
