So does this mean 14 days to have cash in hand or 14 to get the mtcn? I submitted my request 12 days ago and have heard nothing.

having the MTCN is the same thing to cash in hand

Right, my bad. Meant to say having the MTCN or getting approved.

Good question, I'm wondering the same thing. I'm on my 13th day and it still showes up as requested. I'm assuming you get approved in 14 days then get your MTCN# 2-3 days later.

I'm in the same boat as you buddy. Still requested from the 18th. I'm sure we'll have approval within a couple days.

I am not sure that WU allows transactions that big.

Good for you! As of this morning mine was not approved yet but that was at 7:30 a.m. central time before I came to work so maybe after work it will be. Did you get a e-mail saying it was approved? and was it only approved or did you also get your pick up info?

The good: Emailed support at 9:42a and received a reply to my question in 7 minutes.

The bad: Received canned response ("Our check timeframe is 7-10 business days for processing and another 7-14 business days for delivery.")

The ugly: I didn't cash out via check...

While the reply showed that the customer service person didn't look at my account/cash out request, I suppose it is a step in the right direction that we are getting quick responses.

You'll probably be approved at some point today. I'm still waiting on the pick up info. I'll let you know when I get it.

Emailed last night, no response yet.

There is no guarantee that WU withdrawals will stay at 14 days. My first took 12 days and now they seem to be taking longer. As their volume increases the time to cashout might increase as well. For those that have passed the 14 days, it probably will be a couple more before you see anything. We would all love to have WU withdrawals take 7 days or less, but that may never happen until poker is regulated here.

Has anyone else had this happen? I went to pick up my money and they told me I had the wrong sender last name. They would not pay out because of this. I emailed support this am, but no response yet.

Suggestion...get a Western Union prepaid gold card (can buy them at most WU locations) and when there is a person to person transfer to you, all you have to do is call WU and give the MTCN and they load it on the card. You can withdraw from the prepaid card just like any ATM card. VERY convenient!!!

Please post what support says...i have a WU payout pending and your experience worries me

You can also load the card online with the MTCN only. No other info is needed which would avoid these other problems.

So if I got one of these cards I could just load my card online instead of having to go to a store? How much do they cost?

The card is free. You can apply on Western Union's website. There are limits however, which won't work for some. I believe the load limit per transaction is $750. I successfully loaded my last withdrawal this way, but it was for an amount less than $750.

yep true, its a great prepaid card too, always worked online whenever i needed it (on Lock too). they charge 4.95 to load it with cash but its free to load it with a receivers mtcn. I definately recommend it.
