Lock WU Withdraw - Page 54 - Two Plus Two

Has anyone else ever had any problems finding a store that will cash your WU money transfer? I tried 5 different places today to try and get my WU transfer for the amount of $1819 and all 5 places told me they didn't have enough $ to do my transaction.

I tried 3 Food Lions, 1 K-Mart and 1 check cashing place. How the hell am I supposed to get my $???

Go to a bank that has WU.

Alright thanks guys, I'll try my bank (Bank of America) first thing tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'll just try BB&T, Wells Fargo or PNC. We don't have US Bank here in Greenville, NC

You can't just go to any bank, you have to go to a bank that does WU.

Go to the WU website and do a search.

It truly is amazing that you guys win at poker, but can't do stuff like this.

thx... this prompted me to check mine and the MTCN number was there.

7/9 requested WU
7/20 received declined then accepted message via email
7/24 successfully received payment

i did have to goto 4 different WU processing sites before one had enough money for the transaction. It was a Harris Teeter and they had to do it on two separate checks.

I did a search on their website using my phone while I was driving around town, that's how I knew where to go (the Food Lions, the K-Mart and the check cashing place). But the website didn't list banks, only stores.

I believe Fifth Third bank is another bank that will do WU transactions. Most grocery stores will give you like $500 in cash and then the rest in a check i believe. This is just me but I would rather do my WU transactions at a bank rather than a currency exchange. It just seems like the people that work these currency exchanges are really rude, but I don't blame them after seeing the people they deal with all day.

I too received my control number today after requesting on 7/11. However, I tried tracking the transfer on WU website and the report came back unavailable. Should I ignore that and just go try to get the money or what has anyone else experienced?

For the people that are loading the debit cards with their MTCN, is there a way to then get this into cash? Or must it stay on the card like a gift card?

Yes Squib, you have a pin number just like a regular card and you can swip your card at the bank and do a cash advance.

Just got my MTCN # today, went to WU and everything went smooth! Requested payout on July 13th.... Lock Poker on the up and up??! A week and a half for my $$$. Weeeeeeee!

Cool! I requested mine on the 13th as well. Hoping I'll get a MTCN# shortly. However my last update in my history was the 13th: "DF-EPT_WU Withdrawal Requested", but I haven't gotten anything that said "DF-EPT_WU Withdrawal Approved"... is this what usually comes later along with the MTCN #?
