When he announced the new WU limit, he also announced two free withdrawals per month...I'm sure of it. I looked back to find the post and that part seems to be missing now. Anyone else locate that info?

Can somebody FROM THE US please confirm a withdrawal that has been made in the past 2 weeks via Western Union? I'm trying to move a good bit of $$$, but do not want to process a transaction and essentially have the money frozen while Lock figures it out.

Seems like a couple people have had some success with WU in the 5-10 days range. I look forward to hearing some success stories.

No problems to speak of, always makes me wonder how many shills there are in these sorts of threads.

Edit: About the $, the first place I went said they didn't have enough cash to do it. 2nd place didn't have enough cash either but they were able to draw me 2 checks(max check is $1k from WU) and I deposited those into the bank. 2nd place didnt understand why first place didnt do the checks. Weird.

If I want to pick up money from WU I need to be in a certain radius of the address where the money was sent, right? I'm from MA, but am going to Vegas next week... so if I want to be able to pick up the money in Vegas I would need an address out there?

If so, does anybody know how to change your physical address on the new software? I took a look and wasn't able to find anything.

Checked my history and all the info was right there.
I feel bad for people not on 2p2 with no indication that it happened this way as I would have never known since i got no word from support telling me otherwise.

seems like anybody who requested a western union before they got the new 2k cashout is taking a while to get there WU i had requested a week before they got the new processor i went ahead and cancelled my original WU cashout and got it refunded and waited till the switch to the new WU processor and got my 2K in 6 days! seems like if you got caught up in that lilttle two week span before it might take awhile!

i was a little scared too at first because they didnt even give me a country where it came from i had to go online and search where the city was located but i found and didnt know if i should use it and i did and it worked no problems i think if the name and the numbers match thats all the really need! but i went to a local grocery store HEB i went to the customer service and she pulled 2k right out of the cashier all hundreds and paid me and that was it pretty easy!!

hope this helps!!

also sometimes if the store doesnt have the cash they can give you a check and you take that to the bank!

Definitely depends on the place. Some places simply dont have that much on hand or wont give it out for a W/U payment. I went to two grocery stores this morning and got turned away, eventually wound up at another bank-inside-a-grocery-store where I had to listen to a spiel about starting an account with them. I wouldnt expect convenience or liquor stores to accomodate this size of withdrawal but I could be wrong. Grocery stores = sometimes. Financially places = probably.

Requested a max WU withdrawal on 6/21 for $2,000 and today(6/26) got an email saying it was declined. Any idea why this would be Shane? Money is not back in my account yet either.....I'll give it a couple hours. Guess I'll be better off just requesting a check.

Shane I'll send you a PM also, just in case you can give me more info on why it was declined or if I can resubmit via WU.
