I tried doing a WU at a bank that offered WU services. I tried 2 different times. one when my first name was truncated (but still the name I use on EVERY single legal document, signing a check, etc) and didnt match precisely with my ID. After changing my lock account info for the next cashout, I tried the same location again, and was turned down because now I didnt include my middle name. The banker told me they have more stringent requirements than other vendors or something like that. I took the same WU tranfer slip to a grocery store WU both occasions, and had no problems, in and out within a few minutes. Based on my experience, a WU store, or chain grocery store/check cashing outlet might be more simple than a bank for WU service.
