I wanted to quote some of the posts made by Lock Poker rep and Mason

We wanted to address some of the issues that have been brought up recently as there seems to be a real mix of false statements, half-truths and legitimate player concerns.

One of the steps recently taken has been to crack down on accounts abusing the player transfers to bulk withdraw funds with absolutely no play on the accounts. Our security team is reviewing every case in detail to ensure that withdrawals of winnings by players are not affected. Lock has always had the policy in place to restrict withdrawals on transferred funds but this is now being enforced much more aggressively due to some severe player abuse.

There has also been some mis-information regarding Lock losing funds in Cypress accounts. This is completely fabricated and false. Lock has never held any accounts in Cypress banks.

Lock is dedicated to reducing cash-out times. We understand the importance of quick withdrawals and are focused on improving the experience of cashing out of your account.

Based on some of the recent findings and implementation of policies you will see things greatly improve over the next 3 weeks.

Joseph

Hopefully this will change, but in the mean time, by not participating, it appears to us in 2+2 management that Lock is getting hurt even more.

Of course, the bottom line is whether the withdrawal problems do get solved in 3 to 4 weeks as their represnetative stated. But it sure would be nice to hear from them in the meantime.

Best wishes,

It is now 4th week, are we going to see all payouts made?

@Nextpls

There seemed to be a significant number of payouts made towards the end last week, right around the time we were told they would be. We have been told there will be more this week, and I am cautiously optimistic that things are going to continue to improve.

This is what Joseph wrote^

I really hope it is the truth.

Woah woah woah. Just because a few people were paid out we're going to start using phrases like "significant number of payouts"? Dude, until most of the people like myself who requested our money back in January and even before me in October, November, and December get paid, I would never ever think to use the word "significant".

Lock pays a handful of players and they're the first ones to remind you that "all payouts are being caught up now". What a load of crap. If only we actually knew the total number of pending withdrawals in # and $. Then you'd have a completely different opinion on what's significant.

@vindictive

I agree that it is not happening fast enough and I can't wait to hear the news that you have your money; however, it seems unlikely to me that the only cashouts that are happening are the ones we are hearing about on this board. I know why you are so frustrated, but at the moment I feel their is optimism to be seen in the situation.

I am not sticking up for Lock, I am however sticking up for reason and logic. I do have money on Lock and am waiting for a 2k cashout via western union. I have not been waiting as long as other people though, so I am not complaining about it.

I am cautiously optimistic that things are going to turn around and we are all going to get our money; what cracks me up is people who say they are not waiting for cashouts are often the ones here that show the most vitriol and usually without meaningful substance.

I want this community to get answers, I want us to get our money, and I want the situation in general to turn around (what I want most of all is to be able to play on Pokerstars again...but that is a dream and nothing more.) I don't think absurd rants are in anyway useful though, although I should be use to it since this is the internet.

Today has been 5 weeks of waiting since I requested my cashout so I went to the 24/7 "speak with a live agent" area, when I tried to speak with someone live it takes you to an Email us screen. So just one more way that Lock is screwing their customers and the Poker community.

Got To Love It!!!!

I cancelled my cashout request in January and lost it all playing stupid coin flip sit and go's.

Sounds like for once my degenerate side made better sense.

To be fair 3 weeks lock time is equivalent to 12 weeks regular people time.
05-30-2013 , 05:06 PM
Shane, where is players cashouts?
05-30-2013 , 05:39 PM
Site is run by crooks. Hope everyone gets paid and stops playing. Seriously, I don't get why people still play here. Its been a year since promises were made about software updates, cashouts being faster, better support, etc.

If you have played online poker for a while, where there is smoke there is fire.

Lock is going under. I left in Dec. and i'm so glad I did. Hope everyone get's paid eventually, but don't count on it. Lock management and the "pros" will be taken to Vegas for the WSOP and don't expect much to happen this summer.

This is the worst site ever.

You really think an illegally run business, such as Lock gives a **** about you and your payout?

/absurd rant. Be realistic, man. I mean, it is your money and I hope you get paid, but like you said, be cautiously optimistic. And then RUN!!!!!

There are also more people waiting to be paid than just the people that post here.

Agreed, though I think the reason why cashouts are taking so long is... actually there is no excuse for that ****.
I was going to say though, wouldn't cashout times be longer b/c everyone is abandoning ship? Thus, everyone is pulling there money out and giving Lock a huge workload?

It should not take half a year to cashout though...
