Hi,

I'm a Belgian player and after playing 35k hands on PokerMambo (Entraction) I'm looking to deposit on Lock Poker. I've read some pretty troubling threads about players having trouble cashing out and I would like to hear some clear and constructive advice on the matter. Is it safe for me to deposit my hard earned money on Lock Poker?

I would recommend not keeping a lot of money on there until you get a feel for the cash out system. I personally have been getting my cash outs on time roughly 2-3 weeks. I heard cashing out once you hit black or black elite VIP becomes fairly easy. Gluck

Aight, tnx for the reply. So I can assume that the site isn't unsafe but that the cashout system is just slow for players with a low VIP level? Do you think it also has something to do with the fact that you're from the US and that European cashouts are possibly faster?

Cashouts really just depend on method. Certain VIP levels used to have options others didn't, but I believe they're pretty uniform now. For US players there are really only two options:

1) Western Union - takes a few days and max is $250 right now, although often it is $850, all depends on if we're at the merchant limit or not.

2) checks - quoted 2-3 weeks, you can see in the cashout thread that users are getting them often in ~1 week right now.

If you're not in the US you can use eWallets like Moneybookers/Skrill and Neteller, I've been told both of these take ~7 days, and have talked to a few people recently who have been receiving them in that time frame +/- a day or two.

Check the payout threads in here for information direct from players.

North American checks are hitting in 7-14 days in most cases.

European players are in better shape with payments hitting in 2-3 days.

Direct Bank Transfers didnt deliver on the time frames we were promised so they have been discontinued. Our checks were arriving faster.

Since the OP is asking if his $$ is safe on Lock I think it would be a great idea to confirm or deny if all funds are 100% segregated. If you don't know the answer to this simply say you don't know.

Our player funds are completely segregated, always available for immediate withdrawal.

This has been a key component of our faster cashouts since the switch to our own cashier.

We are working towards independent verification of this to further rassure our players. This process takes some time though and we are still working through that process now.

I have been waiting on a Direct Bank Transfer for SIX WEEKS!! It was processed on 2/28, and I was told I would get the funds in 24 to 48 hours! lol I can deal with the lead time being off the "quoted lead time" a week or so, but SIX WEEKS is unacceptable. I have been told repeatedly it is coming in a few days.
The communication has been very poor. Support answers one out of every 5 emails with a generic response. Lock repeatedly blames the processor, but they will not put the funds back in my account, so I can get a courier check. I haven't played on Lock for over 2 weeks, and I do not have any intention of doing so ever again. Going to Black Chip.
Be warned. Shane and Rizen promise to take care of things, but all they do is forward emails to support. They randomly answer PMs and emails as well.
I'm over Lock. They have gained market share based upon their supposed fast withdrawal times, but they do not deliver (and they don't even offer to compensate you for your trouble).

Lol @ always available for immediate withdrawal. By immediate, Lock Poker means we offer multiple withdrawal methods, but none of them actually work. Checks bounce, Western Union takes up to 3 months when it should be instant and direct bank transfers don't even exisit. Lock just moves money around, they get new deposits to pay old customers by making them think cashouts are quick and possible.

Direct Bank transfers were a mess and yes on rare occasions there are problems with a batch of checks but if you look in the cashout threads on 2+2 the overwhelming majority of checks are arriving in 7-14 days and WU cashouts are hitting in 2-3 days.

There will always be the problems that crop up along the way but that cashout thread provides clear evidence that overall our cashout situation has improved tenfold since we made the move to our own cashier and we are working hard to make sure it gets better and better.

my advise is STAY AWAY from these guys i put in 50 dollars a few weeks ago yet they charged me $110 dollars for a total of 61 dollars extra, if they dont replie within 24 hours i'm gonna call my back and report it stolen...

hello, just would love to say how many problems i've had with lock. verification. pfff been almost a month and still hasn't happen. they e-mailed me saying back log on way to many e-mails the cause. lol which means there getting tons of e-mails (red flag). So they lost 350 of mine and it just disappeard. I email them tons of time on this and sent them all the proof and they denied for 2 weeks they lost is. So i called the number and left a message. The very next day they emailed me saying they did not in fact credit me back my 350. Holly cow i wasn't lying how about that. Oh and for my troubles and there denying and calling me a liar basically that gave me 25 dollars pff. stick it bro. So I am waiting here still after countless e-mail saying hey could you verfy me and pay me plz it's been almost 30 days. Oh and 24/7 round the clock customer service hahaha NO!!! it's a lie all you can do is e-mail them. And trust me if i am and everyone else is boy there really gonna be BACKED LOGGED. worst experiance ever. If there are any doubts to these claims i have made please do so and ask for the proof and i would gladly show you ever sent and recievd e-mail. You would be mad reading my e-mail and there mine. so yea lock suck
