If you send a polite email when dealing with us, I'll try to help you out? Forget that we've basically done an illegal act by bouncing a check for you and we're holding money you earned hostage with the promise that we'll send you another hopefully non fraudulent check, but only if you're polite in your email.

Lol

Lol
Lol, oh excuse my manners. I have received 1 email during this 9 day process. Ironically enough, the email said:

"I have assigned this as a matter of urgency to my cashier manager.

Thank you so much for your patience."

So the one email I get after sending 5 over 9 days, is that it is an urgent manner. Does that make sense?

I would honestly walk away from it, but I understand that you're making money, so it's hard, but there will seriously be an end to Lock one way or the other.
06-13-2012 , 03:56 PM
the Imjustshanes "location: no fixed address" makes me lol for some reason, the only thing that would be better would be "location: where the lock winners are not"

walk away? I have thousands owed to me on top of the two bad checks, what do you mean walk away?
06-13-2012 , 04:21 PM
I'm a little sketched out. How could they possibly be bouncing checks and claim they are legitimate.

Well, they have lots of different accounts and weird money flow patterns, so a bounced check can happen sometimes, although it is very sketch.

The second check that was linked to a nonexistent account is what really scares me. That seems almost intentional. What's worse is that 9 days deep into this support has not done one thing.

Shane said if I sent him an email he would help me out, that was this morning and no response but it hasn't been that long, hopefully they step up and clear this up because who wants to deposit onto a site that can't pay the checks?
06-13-2012 , 04:30 PM
I mean't not play there anymore

Then Shange comes on here: Don't worry the checks are coming soon!! Well, do I want more phony checks really, how about you pay the money that is owed and stop writing checks you can't pay...
Yea man if you are going to do anything let me know the info please because they owe me 2600 and I want it. And it's totally ridiculous that Shane is telling you to be polite when they are completely ripping us off and then not even having the decency to respond... I want every penny plus what I was charged or I will take any legal action available.
06-13-2012 , 08:56 PM
I have sent a bunch of emails and pm Shane and rizen and haven't heard anything back yet. I just pm Shane today though so hopefully I get a response from someone. It's hard to want to play on a site when the hardest part isn't winning the money it's actually getting it. They need to take care of people because hopefully next year or sooner there is going to be a lot more competition out there for them and people will def remember them not paying people, then telling you to be polite about not being paid lol
06-13-2012 , 08:59 PM
Ya, that kinda made me mad but I understood it was cause I kinda threw a hissy fit.

I just want this to be over with, I will be polite as they want but can't they be polite instead of ignoring me? I saw him responding to some other guy asking about a check that was processed ten days ago...its like where are the priorities.
06-13-2012 , 09:10 PM
We have had bounced checks written to us after waiting at least 4-6 weeks to even get them then we have been dicked around and ignored, we have every right to be angry. I really hope it gets taken care of for all of us man. It will be great once online poker is legal
06-13-2012 , 09:21 PM
Stuff like this is why we need regulation. No check should ever bounce. Really want to see the business model of these companies.

Man - this thread has been really depressing to read.

It is depressing that it is even happening. Tenfold that they choose to ignore it.

Still no check, anyone care to fix this or make it right? It has now been 33 days!

I am growing increasingly frustrated with this process. Can you advise on the date I will receive my check? It has been several weeks now.

I am fine with that time table, but I have not been given any information on the status. Are you telling me that it may arrive as late as mid-June for a request made in mid-May? I am asking because I recommended the site to a couple of other regular players (one has already made a deposit) and I would like to be able to tell them the projected time line so they are more aware than I was and can make up their own minds.

Hi,

Our check timeframe is 5-7 business days for processing and another 5-10 for delivery. We try our best to process payouts quickly but occasionally will require the alloted timeframe given.

Thank you so much for your patience.

These morons need to be removed from business! Glad I decided to build a roll instead of buy one!

It's even more depressing to go through dude, I finally make a little money on this site after playin like **** for a while then I can't even get it. We really do need regulation so that there is competent people offering us poker online. A check bouncing is complete bs, then not getting responded to for almost two weeks is just pathetic customer service and bs.
06-14-2012 , 06:43 AM
My last check bounced as well. And cannot get a response from support.
06-14-2012 , 07:00 AM
Shane, I think it would be incredibly polite if lock might actually respond to the emails of these awful issues of customers who are freaking out. I think it is very rude that they do not respond. I think it is really rude for you to suggest that the customer needs to contact you in a polite manner in order to receive reasonable answers about the $6k that your business has been withholding from him.

Please choose your words more carefully. In that situation, that was a pretty bad and unprofessional thing to say.

Yes, you hold all the cards and all the money and if you don't want to reply because a customer trying to find out about his money doesn't approach you in a way that meets your standards then you can simply not do so. No need to remind us. Your email support has sent that message loud and clear.

customers sometimes freak out about bounced checks. It is up to lock to actually do something about that...instead of blowing them off. Get it?
06-14-2012 , 07:10 AM
I am currently owed $4930. I have two checks that were processed 5/16/12. And it took two weeks for those two just to get processed(so been 6+ weeks now and have not received). And to add to that the last check i got bank told me was no good/account was closed and have yet to receive an email response from lock regarding that no good check(2 weeks ago, 10 emails later). I hit up Rizen on fb and he told me to send him all my info thru email....confirmations/emails/etc.etc. I sent him all my info two days ago. I received email back saying he forwarded my email to the ceo? I don't know exactly what that means or what this will do. ...But i have a feeling nothing. At this point all i'm trying to do is get my funds back into my lock poker account from out in limbo land. Really doubt i'm ever getting to see this $5k
06-14-2012 , 07:31 AM
Lookout, I think you will see your money fine. Lock needs to step up their customer service game and stop being so terrible at it. But unfortunately in today's online poker environment, the occasional check processing issue will happen sometimes. Lock certainly should be more forthcoming with answers and also tend to their customers' needs much better. And that involves not telling them to contact them politely when they have been doing a poor job.

Do better, Lock. Please.
06-14-2012 , 08:39 AM
OP: I hope you get paid.

You're lucky if you can even get a response from Lock support or Shane. I would celebrate if they would send a response to any of my messages since January... even a "We are never going to pay you" or a bounced check would be preferable to a vacuum. I was polite for the first 3 months, but that did not help.

Threats of U.S. legal action mean nothing to Lock. They are outside of the law to begin with. It's like calling the police on your drug dealer for selling you oregano.

I really hope all of you Lock supporters are right. I know I have no chance to ever get paid (I'm an affiliate) but it makes me ill to see all the players that are owed money. It is beyond my comprehension that so many of you continue playing there after seeing the hundreds of complaint threads... I guess the action must be epic.

Good luck everyone and may the flop be with you
06-14-2012 , 08:56 AM
I'd be VERY surprised if lock actually has player funds segregated.
