As far as the 'suit' comment goes, I mean I'm here to act on behalf of the players as a voice directly to Lock, and to a lesser extent Merge. I think I do a pretty good job of it and believe me, I take it seriously and when I'm on phone calls and in meetings I'm not afraid to say things I know people don't want to hear. That being said it isn't a volunteer position, at the end of the day I'm a Lock representative. I'm not 'acting' like I'm on anyone's side. At the end of the day I want to see Lock succeed in growing and becoming a better site. I'm out here because I believe that listening to your player base is a crucial aspect in making that a reality.

Comparing FTP and Lock in this situation is completely unfair, obv Black Friday changed things a lot. I know Bodog gets checks to users fast, a big part of that is because their volume is WAY lower than ours, particularly in the portion of winning players (without casino/sports betting leaks) that are trying to cash out. We need to do better though and it's going to happen. I know that if it doesn't improve in 30 days I will get called out here, and that's 100% fair, just like the current criticism is fair.

Thanks

So its well past 30 days when you posted this and this is at least teh 3rd time its been bumped and you still haven't addressed it. If it is fair for us to ask about it again, then its kinda unfair that you haven't addressed it as of yet.

Check request, poker side for $2,500 requested on 11/17 still pending approval. 1 month anniversary today.

Sorry if this was covered, but for non-Americans (Canadian in this case), what's the most efficient method for cashout? On Stars I use echeck which is of course a dream, but wouldn't mind check if it's as fast as the four days I read about a few posts earlier. (Cashout would be under $500)

Times are almost half what they were before, and they're getting better. Sorry I haven't specifically addressed it in this thread though.

Rizen,

Would you say wait times are at about 3 weeks right now? Also, any comments on additional withdrawal methods for US players besides a check, like Western Union? Thank you.

From what I can tell everyone is still waiting about four weeks. Some improvement is better than nothing. But really that's not my largest concern.

When you came on here in early November you said alternate cashout methods were being explored at that time. Since you haven't said anything specifically about that and since no other options have been added to the cashier I'm assuming none of those options have come to fruition.

I'm also assuming that utilizing the casino withdrawal option is still not possible.

I'm also assuming that we can still request just one $2500 max withdrawal at any given time.

Let me know if I'm correct on all these assumptions since you also didn't specifically address that in this thread either. Thanks.

No other options are complete yet, although I'm still aware of several in the works. Getting reliable processors in the US is REALLY tough right now. I would anticipate other withdrawal methods will be available, but the time frame is very up in the air. They won't be added until we've done enough testing with the processor to know they'll be able to reliably handle the withdrawals.

I followed up on the status of these today, and if the response is anything I can share I will.

Times are in the 3-4 week range now for standard checks.

Thanks

Note that many other skins DO cancel active bonuses.

How will the recent stance of the DoJ effect cashout times?

You know, I was thinking I would give Lock a shot with the new year and the perceived back-off by the DoJ; but these posts make me say the hell with it.

are lock casino checks taking 3-4 weeks as well or are lock casino checks not working at all?

Rizen - Can you please address this with the payment processing department? For awhile, checks were 3-4 weeks, we're now approaching 7 weeks for several players. Merge is becoming even less of a viable source of income for US players with these restrictions.

My last check was requested 12/4/2011 and has just passed the 4 week mark now and is still pending approval.

I would also like to know what the official merge/lock rules are on player transfers for the purpose of cashing out. Obviously, it's not necessarily known to merge what is going on, but when I transfer $2,500 to someone and they are sending me a bank wire, is this in violation of merge/lock policy?

Its pretty bad that they are going to charge 15$ to cash out and on top of that take over a month to ship the check...

I was told that I could email them when I got the check and have the $15 placed back into my account.

I am about to start playing on Lock poker but i have a question about withdraw. I am from Serbia (Europe) but im currently in United states. I have working Moneybookers account (used it many times to deposit/withdraw on pokerstars, everything vent perfect) that is linked with my Serbian bank account. But currently there is no way for me to upload money on my MB account. Here in USA i have Visa Debit card.
Is it smart to deposit with my USA visa card and play. And once i get back home on summer if i made something to withdraw i will simply upload money to my Moneybookers, make a deposit (to unlock withdraw via MB) and just withdraw. Do you think that will work? My Lock poker acc is registered with my Serbian address. I figured out that i should put Serbian address instead of current USA address since my MB acc has Serbian address information.

Do you think my plan will work? Are there any problems with lock poker and moneybookers withdraw? If you have better solution for me feel free to wirte it.

Thanks

As long as you will be able to provide all the necessary information to get your account validated this shouldn't be an issue. It sounds like you already know this, just remember you'll have to make a small deposit via MB before you'll be able to withdraw.

Thanks

This - first check of every month is reimbursed, just e-mail support once the check is sent out and they'll refund the fee.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with some changes we have coming towards the end of the month, that's all I can really say for now.

In regards to transfers, sending people cash for bank wires isn't against policy, obviously you are transferring at your own risk and the receiving player will have the 7 day restriction placed on the funds before they can withdraw/transfer it. As long as both parties are okay with that it's no different than what goes on the 2+2 marketplace etc.

Thanks
