Looked at OP and I didn't see any information about cashout fees.

Is there a good summation on different methods for US players and the fees associated with them?

Not sure about Western Union but I thought I remember hearing Lock reimuburses you for the fees, and checks cost $25, although one time they randomly didn't charge me anything, but ya $25 for check.

1 free WU and 1 free check a month (its deducted then paid back to account). WU is 10% and check is $25 if it isn't your first of the month.

I requested a cash out on June the 4th, It is now, JULY 27th and still no check. I sent them an email and they said they would transfer my inquirey to the cashier, but not to expect a quick response. Why am I not suprised. I fear this may be the first one that I never will get.

Is it automatically credited to your account, or do you have to email someone?

I received the check yesterday, July 25, 30 days later and took it immediately to the bank where I deposited it and was notified today that the check did not clear. I mean seriously. I contacted support who notified me that they are going to forward my inquiry to the cashier. Wow, what a fantastic service. The rep was even kind of enough to tell me that the cashier would be slower than the regular support team. So now, I'm stuck waiting for an email response from someone who can explain to me why Lock is bouncing checks and then going to make me jump through hoops to get back my money. Tell me if there's not something wrong with this? Has anyone else had such horrible experiences recently with Lock bouncing checks?
I'm very interested to hear if anyone else had theirs bounce.

My WU was automatically credited to my account when it was finished. So 7/10 i requested (they took 2K, $20 was automatically put in my casino). On 7/24 all the info was up to pick up my WU for $1800 and the other $180 was put in my poker account.

Just found out after that you can request for $2200, so 2K WU and $200 fee.

You do know the difference between clear and bounce right? It always takes more than one day to clear a check, any check, even your own check from a different account.

Question for anyone in US that had their check put on hold because of being foreign. Did it ultimately clear? It obviously stinks having to sweat a check coming for 5-6 weeks than got to wait another 3 weeks to wait for it to clear.

I highly doubt anyone has had theirs clear yet. I'm hearing 4-6 weeks across the board from banks.

Please post source, or not true. Many shills have done this, please prove why you are not one those people.

Checks actually CAN clear in a matter of days, whether your bank puts a hold on the check is simply out of precaution and because it is an international check. My check from Lock cleared in 2 days. How? I called my bank and double, triple, quadruple clarified that the funds were not just "available for use" but that the check had cleared--being very careful to distinguish between the two.

Whether a bank puts a hold on the check is because of many factors: 1) what is your past relationship with that bank, 2) the $ amount of the check, and 3) how big the bank is. With smaller/regional banks, your check is more likely to be put on hold.

I have never had a problem with a Lock Poker check.

Poker sites can take our money instantly because we can deposit using credit cards. It takes a while to get money off because they cannot simply put money back on a credit card. Now, if you use Western Union--yes, it can be smooth sailing on both the depositing and withdrawal side of the transaction so zingaro's point is not valid with this method.

Just FYI, 4-6 weeks to clear a check is completly false. There is no check that will take that long to "clear." A week hold is standard for most banks, and if you havent heard anything after 2 weeks, the check is for sure "good."

Check Req'd: 6/12
Check Processsed: 6/21
Check received: 7/24
Check Deposited same day
most banks said 4-6 week hold
one bank said 5 days
Went with Bank 5 days lol,
DAY4 check has not cleared yet, but upon recent inquiry they state it should clear Tuesday as scheduled so no bouncing issue's have been foreseen, yet..

Although I agree, it's the mandatory process most major US banks have been implementing. The check should take 1 week to clear, but this process doesn't take just one week. When I asked, do they mean 4-6 weeks average? What if it clears right away? They stated, regardless, the wait is 4-6 weeks mandatory hold until they release funds.

Correct, that's exactly what they referred to it as...So will my bank negate the 5 days and be forced 4-6 weeks too? They just don't know yet or god I hope not lol knock on wood
07-30-2012 , 04:32 AM
Curious, funds from my check deposited 7/23 are set to be released tomorrow, business day 5, keeping my fingers crossed it clears and doesn't bounce or get sent to collections = 4-6 weeks? ...They wouldn't wait till the last day to tell me it got sent to collections right? doesn't sound right, sounds like they would have emailed me sooner like 1-2 day...Anyways has anyone else had their checks clear from the 6/21 batch? Has there been any issue's with recent bouncing checks? Anyone else told 5 days as well, or it it 4-6 weeks across the board?

So tired of waiting.

Check processed: 4/18/2012, still haven't received anything.

*** Not processed yet*** ... Have not had any response from Shane or Rizen via here of PM and somehow get emailed back and this is what they say ::
This email is from the 26th ... wtf??
Your current check is still processing.

Our check timeframe is 7-10 business days for processing and another 7-14 business days for delivery. We try our best to process payouts quickly but occasionally will require the alloted timeframe given. Thank you so much for your patience.

Exactly one month after the request and they send me an email saying it takes 7 - 10 days ... Solid.

are checks still bouncing?
