I received a check from the same payment processor as the other bounced checks yesterday (5/21) and mine cleared today. Maybe there wasn't enough money in the account when your bank tried to debit funds out of the processor's account? I just find it odd that mine did not bounce and some people's did. Doesn't make me think the account is frozen or blocked though.

The check I received was from my 2/25 max bank transfer that had to be redirected as a courier check. So I am finally relieved to have this withdrawal completed.

Are you sure it cleared? I use BOA and they put the money in my account the day after i deposit it (this is what happened in February) only to take it out on the fifth day + a penalty for bounced check.

I assumed since they put the funds in my account that it cleared. I must have been mistaken I remember reading something that checks take several days to clear and I was surprised the money was in my account today. So I assume the money will be taken out of my checking account in a few days then. Considering the check was from the same bank the bounced checks are coming from.

Has anyone had a successful lock cash-out within the past 14 days? Should I even cash my check when it arrives? Seems as though I am just going to deposit my check and wait for it to bounce. Rizen, where are you?

With piss poor customer support, to put it kindly, and checks bouncing left and right. Along with the fact that it took forever for a ton of people to even get paid. Why would you still bother with this skin? I started playing here again because I thought they got their act together. What a joke that is. When you have to wait 2-3 days for a response, if you get one at all, and all the other hassles with getting paid, this site has to rank up there with the worst of the worst. I just don't get what keeps players on this skin. Anyone? please?

They told me to send a screenshot and that they have forwarded the problem to their 3rd party check processor.

This is all madness. Im on lockpocker now and plan on playing online poker for real cash but man the withdrawl methods seem extremely troublesome. I guess i will play with limited amount of money because I dont want 3+ thousand tied up. What is the best way of withdrawl do you recommend? bank transfer or check? and how does lockpoker do bank transfer?

LOCK POKER BOUNCED MY CHECK I RECIEVED FROM THEM ON MAY 17TH 2012 AND EMAILED THEM ASAP SENT THEM A COPY OF THE RETURNED CHECK BY EMAIL WELL NOT HAPPY FROM MY LAST REPLY SAME AS THE FIRST WE ARE CHECKING WITH THE PROCESSOR as of today 12:20 am WELL ANYBODY WITH HALF A CARE WOULD OF NOT PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND CALLED the payment center. ON MAY17TH BANK OF AMERICA SAID processor HAS HAD ALL ACCTS. HAVE FROZE.... AM SO MAD CANNOT SEE STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOCK POKER BUYING CAKE BUT CANT PAY ME MY 1475.20???

To be completely fair... when a check bounced we cannot put the blame squarely on lock. My understanding is when a bank account is frozen it is because the US government or the bank got a hold of information that leads them to believe this account is a shell company being used for online gaming. As a result whatever money they have in those accounts will be frozen and eventually seized. So lock (just like their customers) are the victims here.

With that being said... Lock do have a responsibility to refund/reprocess their customer's bounced check payout in a timely manner (aka immediately). Lock had a choice of whether to serve the US market or not. They chose to serve the US market. They are making a lot of money from that decision. Lock needs to step up to the plate. Lock should have money set aside to correct situations like this.

Please do NOT delay in refunding all of the bounced checks. Any more delay with this matter cannot be justified.

Please refund the customers by crediting it back to their poker account (so they may sell it in the marketplace if they choose) or send new checks from a different payment processor immediately.

Where is Shane and Rizen? Several people are receiving bounced checks and we don't get a response? So the bank account for the last batch of checks was seized and no one will get their money. My bank has cleared the funds but it sounds like the checks bounce after 5 days so the money will probably be gone by friday. If lock doesn't handle this quickly I will never play here again.

This is ridiculous I got this check from a 2/25 failed bank transfer and most likely will have to wait quite a while longer to get my money. I doubt they even have money set aside for situations like this. Think about how much the amount the processor got seized. I'm guessing its at least 50k prolly more. Do you really think lock just has this money lying around for a situation like this? Lock has been losing money on the merge network. If the payment processor wont be able to refund Lock our money we are screwed.

Most of the time funds electronically clear during overnight ECH processing, but sometimes there is a delay. Banking regulations require that all funds be made available within a short period of time (can't recall exactly, but something like 1-2 business days) if the deposit doesn't immediately clear or bounce, but the bank can and will reclaim those funds if the check eventually does bounce. This is standard behavior, and I would strongly encourage any of you receiving checks during this time to be wary -- unless you have a significant cushion in your account already, leave the funds in the account for at least a week lest you risk the bank coming after you for a shortfall.

This is not unusual in the US online poker world for the past several years, since UIGEA was first passed (even before it went into full affect). Even in their US heyday PS and FT had payment processors and funds seized on a fairly frequent basis, and checks would bounce. The difference being of course that their support was stellar and they not only quickly rectified the situation when it happened, but often compensated with bonus funds for the player's inconvenience.

The fact that processors get seized and checks occasionally bounce should not be surprising any US players who have been around for awhile, but what is disappointing is Lock's sluggish reaction when it happens.

ya i requested a check like a week, nothings happened. emailed them to cancel the check when i read all this and still nothing. should organize a lock out on lock poker until everyones situation is settled.
