Lock Ops - May 6 - 20th Promo? Lock Ops - May 6 - 20th Promo?

Any word or timeframe on when we can expect a valid explanation from the merge network. This is just a huge blow imo...

The LOCKOPS satellites used the same entry coupon system as our standard satellite structure so anyone who won coupons can still use them in some great value tournaments. If anyone has a particular coupon and they want to know what tournaments they can use that for just reach out to me and I will let you know.
I am afraid that does not cut it. People played the sattys with the belief that they could play to have a chance at winning a big guarantee tourny. This is obviously not the case so would refunds not be in order?

All the tournaments those coupons are valid for are big guarantees, if you have a particular coupon let me know and I will tell you the regular guaranteed tournaments you can use it in.

Wow this is so horrible, I purchased a lot of money off a friend at a worse rate than I'd normally pay strictly because I fully expected to play a lot of HSMTTs in May

Maybe the Lock tournament director can help the merge TD put together the next promo.

OK I won a ticket to the Lockops main event, what can you replace that with?

Not sure what is funnier, imjustshane's reply, or the kid who actually won a LOCKOPS ME seat having 800 posts on 2+2 and no brain attached to his head.

Lol.. Probably going to have to go with Shane's esp since your able to cash in the tourney ticket and receive a "wait for it" $3 extra.

merge the two threads or close one, imho.

Could Lock escrow some money to insure the overlays with Merge? Do it. Let's get our Ops on.

Sorry sir but there is nothing funny about this situation. Lock promoted a tournament series that many people were looking forward to playing, nevermind the potential value in playing these tournys.

Oh but wait there is something funny here. I never actually won a ME seat, was just trying to get Shane to offer up something better than "you can use the tickets in one of our network-wide ****ty tournaments".

So at least now anyone who won some sort of satty ticket can at least get some value out of it correct? ***S

Ya I bet everyone is stoked to not play the $500k guarantee on May 20 and instead get an extra $3 in EV playing two $109s ...

Um I am not sure but I think we are on the same page with this. Maybe I wasn't clear from the beginning? What I should have said is that there would have been tons of value playing the Lockops compared to similar buyins on the regular tournament schedule due to the decent prize pools and potentially small fields.

Personally I would rather have cash for any tickets won (which is what Shane offered at the end) than use any tickets for the regular tournaments.

Still not really sure where that "head no brain" comment was from though.
