Lock not crediting proper funds- terrible customer service Lock not crediting proper funds- terrible customer service

Hello 2p2,

I read these forums from time to time and always found it insightful and helpful, especially since BF and the information made available from fellow players during these tough times for all of us.

I figured I should post my recent experience with Lock poker to both inform others and maybe get some help in obtaining a proper refund.

My lock username is Tetrahydr0cannabinol.

I won a $33 satellite to $530 entry before the switch from merge to revolution.

However, I was only credited $33 dollars and initially though it was an error.
I have been emailing support for the last month trying to get an answer, but seem to be just getting automated responses.

I am owed $497 from lock poker and am still waiting for a reply from their support team.

I am wondering if there are others in similar situation who weren't credited the proper amount from the switch of network for tournament satellites.

Either way I am glad its not more money that has been kept from me, but feel I should get a response from Lock instead of just ignoring me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully I will get my funds back sometime in the future.

If any lock reps on this forum can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Tetrahydr0cannabinol

Hello,

The $530 Ticket was for a Live Event. Live Event tickets were not transferred over due to the tournament/event already taking place.
All my best,

Elle

what a joke..seriously

I wanted to use the 530 to play a satellite to the wsop package but was unable to due to the change from merge to revolution.

Now they tell me that I just lost 500 bucks due to their stupidity.

Sigh...I will have to consider this a loss as lock poker is a useless entity..

Please don't leave more money on lock than you can afford to lose..thats all I want to say to my fellow players...as you can see they don't really care....

But yea as U.S players we dont have any other options I understand...hopefully this will change sooner than later...

Thank you for all those who read my message and I hope you don't put your trust in these poker companies as they don't really care about honoring player funds...

Thanks
Sincerely,
Tetrahydr0cannibinol

p.s Post something to make me feel better

I am trying to find a new site to play, I joined oddsmaker.ag some time ago, didn't read the forums until I decided to withdrawal over 20k and now I am hearing that I should not hold my breath and I will never see a dime. Do you have any recommendations where to play online that I will actually see a withdrawal?

I have been emailing support for 3 days, i dont even get the automated response.
I think they hired the old FTP support team.

They are never going to keep their recreational players with this support team. All of us will still play because we win but eventually the games will die because it's not fun to play at a site where you can't get a hold of support.

mrpilko36 - I am playing on merge (carbon) and using WU to withdraw and the fees aren't too bad. Only problem is limit is 900 weekly by WU.

Other than merge, I play on bovada, and they have the best customer service as of right now. You can reach them by phone which is a huge plus being able to talk to someone right away about any problems. Main con about bovada is no hud/player names to be able to multi table efficiently and limited tournament options for high volume players. Their checks arrive within 3 weeks usually, I havent had one take over a month yet.

Though, I highly recommend keeping the very minimum you need online and cashing out regularly for obvious reasons..

don't keep more online than you can afford to lose!

Kedu- yea we seem to be between a rock and a hard place with no where to go until some kind of legalization happens.
I am planing on moving abroad by December to get back on pokerstars if something better isn't available by then. I would have left already, but had legal issues keeping me from leaving the states until then. talk about bad timing...sigh
But yea keep your head up..something better will come along sooner or later..hopefully sooner than later.
