Rizen / Shane - I play HUSNGs. As I understand it, I receive 4.48 points/$1 fees as opposed to the 7pts/$1 fees for VIP players. Does that same formula apply to Ronin ... i.e., would I clear Ronin levels based on 4.48/$1 or 7/$1?

Does July Ronin start at 0:00 July 1st GMT?? Or will there be some delay in resetting it.

wow i was completely wrong about that..this is a huge disadvantage for ronin.. sorry guys

are we allowed to switch back and forth from rb to vip anytime??

Probably, yes, but think about the time frame. By the time this actually occurs, it will probably be a week or more. Then, when you switch back to RB, you will have to worry about not getting back-payments.

I'd keep your RB setup and just bite the bullet.

You play 20nl with some 10nl, correct?

if he's playing that low then almost certainly the better value is in getting the regular rakeback. He's not breaking 10k points per month, right? Just take the 36% and the whatever extra from ronin and be happy with that.

so I have been missing half my vip points since i only get $1 for 0.5 vip points based on the Stats?

^^^ FR is the fastest way to earn points but that is mostly a moot point now. Lock just updated their VIP program as well as RONIN to use dealt rake instead of points to calculate levels. You can find the updates on their website. Looks like points only matter for the cash-for-points exchange now which is a fairly small part of the total value equation.
