I DO care about the players on this site, I also care for Lock Poker and that makes me in many ways a biased responder but I'm speaking truthfully when I tell you that I know everyone is working their hardest to address these issues and that what our players feel is extremely important to our management team.
Brian...thanks for the response. All I ask, and what most level headed people ask, is that we get something back from Lock management. Can you please pass this along to Jennifer Larson and ask her to address all these issues? The only thing you have to do is tell her to come the Lock Forum on this site.

That is honestly the only thing I wanted to happen when I started this thread. Again sorry for not putting 2+2 together with your name on the forums and your twitters handle.

We know Lock is growing, but its obvious Ms Larson bit off a lot more than she could handle and is way over her head at the moment. With that being said, the best way to deal with a situation like that is to address it head on and not hide till it gets better.

Thanks again taking the time to reply and it would make you a super hero if you could really pass word along to Jennifer Larson and get her to respond on Lock's Website or something so that we know its really her and not someone making a screen name up.

Putting my integrity on the line here, I can tell you that your thread has been passed on to everyone that matters, its what initially brought me here to try and help. I am under the belief that a statement will be forth coming from those that you want to hear from very soon.

It's my pleasure to respond and to try and help where I can, no thanks necessary but its appreciated all the same.

silence is the worst way to approach this situation imo

Right on! The power of social media is amazing. Hopefully its a lot sooner than later. We will give it some time and hope to see something. You might want to pass word along about this too. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...t-out-1222077/

Planning a sit out a week from today if there is no progress.

Thanks again and you are the man. Looking forward to playing with you and giving you my cash....cause I suck!

It comes with the territory, I understand the frustration that players are feeling.

First I think its cool that you came into this thread and am glad you did. I hope you get treated with respect here.

My one major problem is this, at this point it seems everyone at Lock knows about this thread/forum, however from the view of the players is seems like either 1. they don't have knowledge or 2. don't care. What the CEO, top support member should do is make one post in here stating that they are aware of the situation going on and are taking a,b, and c steps to fix it. They have to be aware that one simple statement would go a long way, silence is the absolute worst strategy to take.

Anyway that's just my opinion and hope this get worked out. I really enjoy the value Lock gives to its players, have enjoyed my time there. Thanks again for coming into this thread.

I agree, silence is not the best route to take. I will say that I think Pro's often stay out of these discussions because there is often little that we can actually add to the discussion. Most of us were in those tourney's and were frustrated as well. It's a fine line for us in regards to public conversations. We want to be helpful but we also don't want to say anything that misrepresents Lock Poker.

We have very well meaning pro's try to help at times and have statements misunderstood and then we catch heat. So most just stay away to avoid conflict not because we don't care but because we don't want to overstep our position. Lock Pro's are players just like you guys and we have the same withdrawal issues and such. If I could stress one thing its that we are people with real emotions as well and find ourselves facing the very same issues the rest of public faces. Its tough being a poker player in the U.S. right now for everyone. Personally speaking last year was as tough as its ever been for me from a mental standpoint. We get stressed as well, but I can tell you that this is a very concerned group of pro players that do care about the player base. I'm far from perfect and have made mistakes in regards to player interaction but I'm working on it

I would suggest you continue to appeal for your funds if you had problems with your deposit. I can assure you that you will be reimbursed.

I heard a long time ago this site was scamming there users...

Just like with AP, just like with UB, just like with pokerspot, just like with pitbullpoker, and just like with FTP (and other dirty sites through the years), people will defend Lock Poker to the end because they want to believe that everything is fine, everything is on the up and up, and why would they scam us when we give them so much rake as it is?

How many scams, scandals, and f'ups is it going to take, to change people's minds about this place? Here's a great run-down of a portion of Lock's missteps. http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/sho...ck-Poker-AVOID

Hearing people talk about depositing on this site, at this point, is sooo disappointing, because it shows that players are still content to jam their heads in the sand, convince themselves the site is working with and for them (instead of the site working for its own bottom line only), and whistle a happy song while the alarms blare at full volume, over and over again.

Which is why Shane or Rizen haven't made an appearance yet in any of the negative threads that have plagued Lock's sub-forum here in the past few days....classic Lock Poker representation I guess.

At least IceWater did the right thing and has tried to quell the storm a little bit while the organization figures out their stories (which I'm sure will come next week given the uproar recently).

Or maybe Jennifer Larson just put a gag order on them like she did with numerous other threads involving both players and affiliates that put Lock in a negative light?

People this started less than 24 hours ago and it's getting more coverage and response then I've seen in the past couple months since we started complaining. Please keep tweeting away and using social media to get the word out. Also tweet with a link to the article from Pokerfuse. Use the hash tag #lockpokersitout when tweeting.

Please remember to be civil and polite when doing this. We are not trying to troll or bash people's social media accounts. The whole purpose of this is to get answers from Lock's management.

According to one of Lock's Pros, Eric Martinez, AKA IceWater17, we should be hearing back from Lock shortly. If we don't, we will push with the boycott and sit-out next week.

This is an understandable approach for the site pros to take, but what about the poker room manager(rizen) and the official lock poker rep (shane). These people are supposed to know what is going on and should be able to communicate with the players. Having both of them make absolutely zero comments during one of the most dysfunctional weeks for lock poker is extremely scary and causes people to fear the worst.

The delay has been because its coming through several layers. It starts with the software provider, then comes through our management down to us reps to pass on to you guys.

We have been pushing for an official statement all week and from the correspondence Ive seen today we should have a statement for you shortly.

Finally. But couldn't you have come here and just give us an "unofficial" update, rather than be MIA for 2 days? Regardless, thanks for the semi-update

Me being MIA was just due to me being sick and not related to this. As far as "unofficial" updates go, we cant do that. In situations like this we need approval to come down from above on everything.

In my mind, this kind of update is worse than being MIA. If you need approval from above to say anything at all of substance than the situation can't be good and is probably even worse than most have imagined.

Sorry you were ill. Out of curiosity, was Rizen also ill?

I said it in the other thread, we've seen this program before and it doesn't have a happy ending.

Not sure where Rizen has been, all I know is he is at a bootcamp Fri/Sat this week.

Just to clarify the reason for needing approval, its more a case of presenting the details properly. We know that everything crashed last Sunday, I could speculate and scream black and blue about the network guys but without the full details that may not be fair. So I need to wait till I get the official response passed down before I can post.
